182 Priced right?

Hi,

Hopefully going to look at 182 FF tommorrow (if not too late, again!) It's arctic blue, 19k FRSH and meant to be mint. He's the second owner and had it a year from 7k miles. Meant to have cup suspension pack fitted as an option but no spoiler pack, however he purchased this from renault but not fitted (splitter I think)

It's up for £7.5k, he reckons he's got 4 people interested so might not get much knocked off. Is this about right?

Also is the cup suspension noticable to verify it has it?

I was reading some older threads (june 07) and the feeling was £7850 was too much for an 04 with 20k on it?:S

I'd say 7.5K was a pretty good price for the car.

Only way to tell if the cup suspension is to take the wheels off and check the hub spacing.

Bargain mate! Stealers by me wanted 9995 for a silver 182 with 30k!!!

Trying to find some pics of a cup, is rear spoiler different, with splitter an addition?

theres all sorts of prices kicking about just seen a trophy with 18k on the clock for 8700 private sale and a 182cup at a garage 05 plate with 11k on the clock for 8k thats cheap!!!!

Definately, prices varying so much seen sum 04's for around 7k or less with mid 20k mileage but these are colours the missus don't like. Reckon yours is about right for a 2005 on this basis then.

I had heard that car would have anthracite wheels if cup pack was fitted, is this near the mark or were they a seperate option?

If its got got antracite wheels then it will have the Cup suspension pack which is 5mm lower than non cupped suspension.

If the brake light in the spoiler is red then its a Cup spoiler, if its a clear brake light in the spoiler then its not a cup spoiler.

I wouldn't buy a 182 without Cup packs as you might aswell just buy an 2004 plate 172 for a couple of grand less again

Could always note the reg and ask Renault to confirm the optional extras.

There is a spoiler difference the 'Cup' spoiler being more peaked

The brake lights are different therefore the colour of the brake light is a simple way of identifying one from the other to the untrained eye

Red = Cup spolier
Clear = Non cupped

Do a search but cuped suspension packs hve 60mm between the the center of the bolts and none cuped have 54mm.
