Yeah send them to SprayShack. Really really good company and you will get an amazing finish. They just did my side stripes and rear bumper.
Side stripes were £80 including P&P to send it back to you.
If you want an OEM finish then use them ;)
Completely different method.
Open the boot then underneath (from behind the badge) you need to remove a plastic panel.
After you remove that you will be able to see a metal mechanical looking thing, this is the wiper blade motor.
It is held it by 3 10mm bolts. Unscrew all of them and then you...
Its dropped 80mm front (but thats low with 16s on) - I'm gunna have to higher it because it rubs soo easily.
Rear is around 70mm and I think Ill leave it at that ;)
Got a quick update.
Received my 172 Rear Bumper and Side Stripes in black. Fitted them both this morning and looks lovely ;)
Having my wheel alignment done today along with the exhaust moved up into the bumper.
AND, also have 4 new tyres put on the White Team D's, and also getting them put on...
Just re-read your thread and saw you mentioned you were getting a megane splitter, phaha... I literally got one for mine yesterday ;)
And also, where did you get your tyres from. I want to order some for mine for my team d's....
-Will
Pics of the lowering.
Its around 80mm front, 70mm rear. The reason for the rear being higher is because I usually have 3 people in the back and any lower down and it will scrape, so...yeah ;)
;)
Noooo, I have no idea how to fit them. My mechanic mate did them for me, I helped out a bit, but not much ;)
Anyway for anyone whos interested, pics of the lowering will be uploaded tomorrow, didnt have time to take any today :)
There is a central piece of metal that is just further back than the bumper. Some guy at kwik fit told me it was suitable - no idea whether to believe him or not tho ;)
I only did that for the lights. For the coilovers, I did each wheel at a time.
I'll get more pictures tomorrow when its light ;)
Can't put my team d's on yet because I cant afford tyres. But when I get some money, I will get tyres on my team d's and then fit them...
Shortly followed by:
1. Fit my new 172 rear bumper
2. Raise exhaust to fit into the bumper
3. Get 4 new...
DECKED!! - Yeah, so got my car lowered today and I think its looking nice. I will upload pictures of the final product tomorrow.
I recently got new lights and fitted them, they have a black background so look a lot better with the paintwork ;)
LOWERED!!
Comments welcome ;)
Quick update. Got round to getting rid of the red brake drums and decided to paint them black. The wheels are finished and just waiting for some money so that I can get some new tyres ;)
Where does the cable go from? I am guessing the radio, but how did you manage to wire it from the FRONT of the radio without it looking quite weird? Got any pics?
Im using http://www.spray-shack.co.uk/ who seem good. They are doing my side stripes and a whole rear bumper. I will find out how they come back like in a week. But loads of people on here have used them before and they are supposed to be really good ;)
