Not too sure about having a smooth boot, some people have said I should do it because they reckon it looks decent. Not too sure what other peoples opinions are about it on here so did a quick Photoshop of it using nick's car, hope he doesn't mind. Oh and also added the smooth rear wiper, anyway...
You can get a hole new exhaust which would be better.
I would recommend:
- Lower it at least 60mm front and back.
- 3/4 front plate.
- Colour code or 172 rear bumper.
- Slash cut out for exhaust.
- Alloys.
I've got the exact same car as you in black so if you want to look through my...
I used a bit more of a leverage (4") thats the biggest available for that star thread.
It moved a little bit but the thread is practically gone and slips every time.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Right, changing my rear seats for sport ones and have just managed to get the black bar out from behind the seats and that was an absolute b**ch to get off. But Im just curious as to whether you are supposed to undo these next?
They literally wont budge, I dont want to break the thread because...
Only a little update.
Raised up the front about 10mm due to heavy rubbing on the 16s. Dont know if anyone had any better ideas?
Anyway, pictures follow ;)
More pictures will be uploaded on the weekend ;)
Rear bumper is just a straight swap for your old one, easy job ;)
Get SprayShack to do it. They did mine and very pleased with the outcome. They charged me £130 for the rear bumper, which I thought was reasonable.
.
Looking awesome! Love the 182, especially in blue ;)
Fabia splitter will be nice along with the pads/disks etc. You should invest in a 3/4 plate. It suits the sport bumper really nicely.
Oh and please go for the 2118's in White.. the blue and white would look soo sleek...
If you want my honest opinion then;
- Lower it on coilovers at least 70mm front and rear.
- Either colour code rear bumper or get a 172 bumper.
- 3/4 front plate
- Lose the tints
And that would be lovely.
I've also got a dynamique in black, if your interested in my thread for ideas then go...
Lovely car, would you mind answering a few questions?
If so;
- What size wheels are they?
- How much is it lowered at the front and at the back?
- Is that a standard spoiler?
- What rear lights are those?
Cheers.
Love the car, great job and can see you've put soo much effort in it. Well done!
Have you got any more pictures of the inside of the car (dash area)?
I am planning on putting a double din style screen in mine and wanna see how you modded it. Oh and I also noticed you put the radio below...
Quick update:
Nice and dirty :nono:
Finally got a good pick of the new 172 bumper thats been fitted.
Exhaust hanging WAY TOO LOW!!
Oh, and I packaged had arrived by the time I got home ;)
Full new set of lights:
Now white instead of yellow:
New exhaust hanger as mine was...
Not too sure what other people have done, but I want to do the carbon fibre interior, dash trim bits.
Did people do them themselves or did they buy new ones in carbon fibre.
I want to do it myself, just need to know how easy is it and what exactly do I need and where to get the stuff from...
Mine did that, turns out my sub had blown. Check with the people you bought it from and hopefully it is still in warranty. What make was it by the way? ;)
If your talking about where the wire goes through behind the dash then look under the bonnet and sort of behind the battery, on the right hand side about half way down. Not too sure if thats gunna be any help to you or not ;)
