It's actually on the edge of the panel above the rear passenger side window where it meets the roof. The defect is a thin strip about 5cm long. At first I thought it was a scrape of some kind, but couldn't think how it could get scraped up there! Looking more closely it is definitely underneath...
I have a Nov 09 Clio 200 in Liquid Yellow and along one edge of the roof it is starting to turn green under the lacquer! It's not terribly noticeable but has definitely spread since I first noticed it about 4 weeks ago. Before I take it back to the dealer for inspection I thought I would ask...
Can anyone recommend any insurers who will include track days as part of the normal policy? I have done loads of track days in the past, but these were all in Lotus or Caterham's as a second car, so were on specialist limited miles policies.
The RS Clio 200 is now my only car and I would like...
Well, I liked it enough to buy one! LY 200 FF with cup pack and black Speedlines. I think the front end looks fine and overall the car looks great and I love the Liquid Yellow colour.
Hopefully I will love it as much as the 182 Cup I used to own. First impressions are VERY positive :)
I have a 182 Cup and a Honda powered Elise. My Elise started out with a bog-standard 120bhp Rover K-series and I would agree that from 0-100mph there would be little in it. The Lotus would be quicker to 60, but the Clio would quickly make up the ground from then on. The Lotus is far superior...
Regardless of the performance or driving characteristics of the two, the Corsa VXR looks like a cartoon version of a hot-hatchback - The Clio would therefore get my vote :)
I'm also waiting to see when a 197 Cup gets released. I'm looking to replace my 182 Cup in the next six months or so and neither the standard 197 or the R27 quite fit the bill. I love the R27, but over £17k for a Clio is insane!
Thanks for the feedback chaps!
For the record, the garage claims to have fixed it. They said it was a faulty water temperature sensor. This does fit with the erratic behaviour of the temp guage, but whether it would cause an engine mis-fire is another matter!
Time will tell I suppose...
Hi,
My 182 Cup has developed an intermitant misfire. Basically it normally occurs within a mile or so of setting off. The symptoms are cruising along gently on a light throttle, press throttle and nothing happens apart from the engine starts stuttering. It usually recovers and continues the...
I had the SERV light come on in the week along with the ESP & ABS lights. Next morning all was well again, but they re-lit up after about ten miles. I phoned the dealer and have booked it in next Tuesday for them to take a look at. Since doing that it has of course been absolutely fine since :)...
Arctic looks great - but a bit common.
Racing looks great and is much more distinctive (without the stripes though - I removed mine!) You do really need to see it in the flesh though to decide.

My 182 Cup doesnt have any Cup badges on it. Should it?
If not, can you buy them? Personally, I would quite like to have them, shows that mine is the hard-core version :D

NNNOOO!!!! The stripes go with the racing blue....dont you know the Renault racing history??!! They cost quite a bit too...
:D Yeah, I know all about the R8 Gordinis of the 60s, but I think they looked a bit OTT on the...
Well, my Clio is now stripe free.
I was washing it this afternoon and noticed that one of the bonnet stripes was peeling at the edge (quality job, Renault  ) so decided that they definitely had to go.
They actually came off pretty easily, I used a hair drier (thanks for the tip) to...
Hi all,
I collected my 182 Cup earlier this week and have to say that I am absolutely delighted with it. I just need to clock up a few hundred miles in the shortest possible time so that I can start driving it properly :D
The car is Racing blue and came with the competition stripes, it...
