i just realized (when i was looking over the specs of the 1.4) that both 1.2&1.4 engines use the same k&n filter E-9136! so i could just use my own on the new engine... ill go for the 1.4 engine! tnx again... i bet it wont be that easy to find it here, but we'll see...

does anybody have any recommendation, what to look for? id like a ~75hp engine, with as lower consumption as possible (preferrably less than 8l/100km urban, since i drive it in the city 99% of the time... petrol)?

it seems that its much cheaper just to go for springs in the front... are the whole suspension kits really that much better, compared on tuner springs on standard shocks?
as i said no mechanic knows whats wrong... i checked 2 guys + 2 approved renault services, but no help...

several reasons:
my 1.2 55hp seems screwed up (or just plain old) - it consumes urban ~11l/100km (thats ~25mpg!), and lots more if i press it hard. unfortunately no mechanic or renault service knows whats wrong with it... they all say its quite ok.
this one consumes (by orig specs) 7.6l/100km...
when i lover the back end of my clio '95, will it also stiffen up the suspension?
how much lowering do you recommend for the front, and how much for the back end?
