Just thought - the 172 rims do go straight on a 182 don't they? Are the stud pattern and offsets the same? Surely they are? Sorry if I'm a bit dumb - I'll learn as I go along, and will learn more when I get my Clio!!

I see thanks for that - I learn something new every day on here!! I wish I drove it. One thing that struck me when I sat in it was that it was mainly Navy Blue, with black and silver bits. I always thought they were mainly black inside. I know the very first 172s were quite blue inside.

Thats a 182 going by the wheels and twin exhausts. It doesn't have the Cup splitter, wheels and suspension though

As said, they are known for the handling. Mine was superb when standard, after a year or so I had it lowered 40mm and fitted with 16s and it was even better! Corners weren't a problem, it loved them actually!!

Before I bought my old Mk2 VTR I test drove a Fiesta ZetecS and a Saxo VTS. I found the ZetecS rather sluggish and it felt heavy even though its only a small Fiesta. Got in a VTS and wow it was brilliant, but you have to work it through the revs and it comes alive at high revs (4k and over)...

No offence intended but Citroen made a HUGE mistake when they stopped the Saxo's and brought in the C2 and C3s. I'm sure you will love the Clio :D

I remember going outside to clean my old black Saxo VTR every other day in the summers!! Worth every minute though.

95% certain I'll go for Black, been looking at loads of pics and its the colour I like most.

That has to be done! It looks great. As said above, goes with the splitter, you could have the 2.0 16v badge done in anthracite too and it would look awesome. :D

Saw a black 182 today, it happened to be for sale in someones driveway. It looked great, definitely going for Black. Saw one on AutoTrader with the stripes, cool or not? :S Thought only Racing Blues had stripes.
