£30 (At most), 2-3 days (So if you ring them now probably before the weekend)
Also you might not have to provide your old iphone, but it might get IMEI blocked

My wifi is quicker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously, there is not much point in comparing as the differences wont be much more than 50kbps
Seeing as its Apple's first multitasking device I just wouldn't get my hopes up about it, maybe after a couple of updates but at first I think it wont be as fast as it could be
Depends what router you have.
BT ones are likely to be:

Password: password
Talktalk ones are likely to be:

Not sure about others
I think it will probably be pretty damn quick, just depends how much stuff is open and what it is. Like you said, the chip is pretty damn quick and the iPhone os is very smooth anyway
I have a G1, and I can safely say that wouldnt be up to pair with your standards. It can be slow at times, ie. opening the browser and answering/hanging up phone calls
I would recommend you look at the Desire (Or Nexus one, pretty much the same phone with different cameras and hardware buttons...
The "unlimited data" wasn't unlimited anyway, it had a fair usage allowance. This is probably just brought over by the iPhone set data tarrifs

The unlimited data wasn't really unlimited anyway. Fair usage for the iPhone contracts on unlimited data was 1 GB. (On a non-iPhone contract the fair usage is 250MB)

Have you never spoken to Customer Care? You should consider it, they'll do a lot to try and keep you on their network. A year and a bit ago I rung up saying I wanted to cancel to join T-Mobile and get a G1, they offered me a £45 a...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Want to bet? Its not hard to talk o2 down. Especially after the other couriers release prices. I presumed the 40% I get off now would be continued, like most people would I suppose. I'll just have to see
Dont bother texting it...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Yeah I just tried it again. Works now
Just read this though:
I'm not getting one on release if I cant carry on the 40% off..
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
You should be fine if its an iPhone contract. You can choose to keep your current tariff even if it is out-of-date and not supplied to new customers
work out how much space you have in your car with your gear in it. then decide if you can get away with a box for a 12" sub, or if you need to settle for a 10" sub
dont bother with 6x9's, they just do loudness not quality or bass
although boxed 6x9's do sound quite good
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I'll wait for the 15th to role round, I'm sure the Apple Fan Boys will have posted before lunch time with their "zOMG I'M GETTING IT ON RELEASE DAAAYYYY!!!! :D:A{WGLAEJHN!!!!"
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I'm wondering if pre-order is only for those that are buying the phone out right but not on contract?
Otherwise its going to be a right pain calling o2 on the 24th..
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Link didn't really help a lot to be honest. Well, maybe the number you can text to find out what priority class you fit into. I take it their phone lines will be very busy on the 24th. Or can you call and pre-order it earlier?
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
Sorry, thought you ment the release date on PAYG
Rumors are that it will be the price the 3GS is now, and the 3GS will be the price of the 3G (And supposedly the 3G will be dropped completely or lowered in price)
However that is...
Re: iPhone 4/iOS4 Info (Read this before starting more threads)
I have a general question about o2 contracts (Sure Revel will have input I want to hear :P)
I have a normal contract atm, 18 months £45, but I get 40% off. Will I get the same discount if I move onto a iPhone contract? (It is...

Hmm.. I thought you're no claims only brought prices down from 1-5 years, anything over 5 years doesn't get considered to reduce your rate. I cant imagine your insurance would go down until you enter your 30's, or move house
