Turn the brightness down on the screen and it will save about 2 hours. Also turn the screen off to 15 seconds. You'd be surprised by how much it helps

I'd recommend using some spray mount if you're going to be sticking it down, it wont go through the fabric and will hold up really well. Even if you do wrap it around a false floor or something it would probably just make it last longer. Mine has been fine for nearly 2 years though
