Yes he will pay for the tax but it needs to be taxed so that he can drive it home.
I cannot get temporary insurance on it as I have insured a few different cars temporarily recently and now my insurance company think i'm a motortrader and won't give me any temporary cover!
I have just had a chap ring up about my car and he said thet he will more than likely have it if I can get it taxed.
The car is currently SORN and is not insured, it has a valid MOT but obviously I need the insurance document to be able to tax it.
Does anyone know of a way that I could tax...
Thanks edde,
The reason I was planning on towing it is because I can't afford to insure it all year round if it's only going to get used say 10 times a year. It's still got 5 months MOT remaining and deally I would like to sell it as is now for whatever I can get for it!
Has anyone got any...
My valver has been up for sale ages and not really had any interest. It is untaxed and has been declared off road and I don't really want it just sitting there doing nothing!

Probably not going to be much interest from this site but thought I'd put alink up anyway!

Today I had my valver out on the road for the first time and I absolutely love it but whenever you give it some beans the clutch slips like mad. How much am I going to be looking at roughly for a new clutch to be fitted and should I get the clutch cable replaced at the same time?
Thanks

Just had a quote from elephant, same as above all mods declared etc with my mum and dad as named drivers and they £1193 TPFT. I'm almost certain that I will be going with them! Unless anyone has any other good companies to try?
I've had quite a few quotes and all have been under 2k. It's the mods that they really don't like! but that's my fault for having a modified car! I've got 2 and a half weeks till I can get her on the road. can't wait!
Been doing some ringing around today for my insurance and the best I have come up with is:
With Admiral. I am 18 with 1 years no claims, no convictions etc with my dad as a named driver.
On a 1995 Valver valued at £1500 with the following mods declared:
Alloys
Bodykit
Exhaust
Induction...
Thanks for the replies. How do I go about checking the earth? And also I could understand it being drained over a few months but over a week?! Do you think that it still sounds like an earthing problem?
Thanks

I have recently bought a set of morette headlights. But they are currently in red and my car is blue! There are a couple of slight scratches that are going to need some attention aswell, I was thinking that I would just rub them down using wet and dry back to plastic then giving them to a...
