hi all not a clio sport question but i now have a clio 1.5 dci 02 plate glow plugs light has come on just wondering how many the car has? as i want to replace them all ready for the winter. if anyone can help many thanks

adam, can all that be done on the day.. i mean i will need to drive his car so will i need to insure it on the priv reg til its gone through?

couldnt he swap the plate from the civic to my car? or would it have to go on retention... and then put onto mine? how much would that cost? thanks

Hi all.. Im thinking about swapping my renault clio for a honda civic but the guy with the civic has a private registration on the car. we are not sure how to go about swapping and what to do with the reg plates... we basically want to get the sale over and done with as his insurance is about...

done this buti cant see the tp part on the screen ? when i flick through when the needles r moving?? can only see "--" with a mpg next too it and some other things >?

it doesnt reset anything... but ok will try filling up with a lot of fuel, thank you.

Hi all, I topped my car up with £10 petrol yesterday, the needle moved but my onboard computer "miles to empty" didn't change... but it seemed to still go down when i was driving? wondering if it maybe needs to be reset? anyone had this before?? regards walter

ive got same problem and machine said brake switch AND cruise control switch? trying to figure out what the best thing is to do myself, as it only seems to come on if i spend too long on the brake... wondering if its much of a job to get the brake pedal off to change it?

i have got 17" cup wheels, with a few scuffs here and there. now i dont want a "matte" finish but id like to tidy them up myself, with a bit of paint and sort of just paint the scuffs grey so they dont stand out so much?? any idea where i could get the paint to match the grey cup alloys? quick...

got a 172 and as im sure most of you know the tail pipe is pretty boring it just points down. ive seen a few modded ones driving around... some choose to cut a half circle out + then put a tail pipe in... is this necessary? and if i was to buy a tail pipe could i just weld it onto my current...

i got a set of 172 alloys x 4 with no tyres wher is best place to get rid as they will cost a lot to post and i dont want a lot for them there just wasting space.

when i seem to accelerate it sounds a little "lumpy" not as clean as id like. it pulls hard but it sounds as though a mount or something might be loose under high revs? any common faults with these or is this just how they sound when they rev?

have you checked your oil isnt low? and is the tapping coming from the top end or the bottom end of the engine?? try revving slightly and see if the tapping increases.. if it does it could be your hydraulic lifters or if its more of a "knock" it could be a bottom end problem

got a clio 172 53 plate.. the computer says im averaging 36.8 mpg. this normal? anyone getting more or less than this?

what civic do these come off? the older ones or the new type r ones?

Seems like a huge waste of money remapping a N/A car... especially for the sake of 10bhp because in reality that makes VERY little difference on the track. remappers must be rubbing there hands when non turbo cars come in
