172 exhaust tail pipe

got a 172 and as im sure most of you know the tail pipe is pretty boring it just points down. ive seen a few modded ones driving around... some choose to cut a half circle out + then put a tail pipe in... is this necessary? and if i was to buy a tail pipe could i just weld it onto my current one with a bit of cutting?

no, you need a complete new exhaust

Get a new exhaust mate. 172 should not have cheap mods ;-)

If you are looking for a visible tailpipe on a 172 milltek do one (twin pipes)

Mine will possibly be up for sale in the near future (like new!)
