If its idling higher than usual, i bet serious money on him not pluuging up the vac pipe to the valve. This must be done, as it creates an air leak in the inlet manifold.
Was the fault there when normal side lights were in? Yes. When you put the led lights in, the fault appeared? Yes. The clue is there somewhere. ;) Take them out.

UCH.....,these little circuit boards control lights/wipers etc. Take them out, and i bet the fault goes. Apparently there was a renault tech note about LED washer jets believe it or not....... Apparently on some clios it blocked the rev signal, so the limiter didn't work. Booom, over revved...
w**k. The standard cluster look sooooo much better. I hate angle eyes and lexarse lights with a passion. I feel like taking a hammer to them every time i see some.
Strange. I give my 182 loads, previously had a 172 for 3 yrs, never had any gearbox problems. Must have done about 70k in both cars so far, noworries i can think of?
Think you've just been unlucky tbh. I had a 172 for 3 yrs, and now a 182, and they are driven pretty hard imo. Once the oil is warmed up, after pootling round for ten or so mins, the car has its legs stetched to 7k most days. All my cars have 6k oil changes, and never want for anything. The...
