It would need to be in the region of 30+ kits initially, on one particular version - i.e. 60RE03 - "172 inc Cup / 182 exc Cup" - but I guess this will be of more interest to the RS models than the smaller engine cars anyhow.
It might well by that the KTR kits use a softer spring to the V-Maxx. If lowered within the suggested range with correct fitment wheels, then V-Maxx won't rub. One of our sales guys runs V-Maxx on his 172 Cup, and it drives great, no rubbing at all. Of course it might well not be as low as yours.
Adjustable damping is an option for the 60RE03 kit (172 inc Cup and 182 non Cup) but just comes down to demand, and volume really.
As for different spring rates, V-Maxx kits are designed really as "fast road" suspension, rather than track suspension. It's unlikely that a choice of spring rates...
If there is sufficient demand for adjustable damping kits for the Clio, it's always a possibility we can offer this with our V-Maxx kits.
Adjustable V-Maxx is already in production for a number of other vehicles.

Ok, hopefully a positive update on this. V-Maxx have just finished producing a pair of prototype 182 Cup struts today, which will be with me on Monday.
We need to get these trial fitted to a car by Thursday, to get these produced quickly. Just waiting for confirmation if Da is able to help with...
If you're in the North East, speak to the guys at Revolution in Gateshead- Keith the store manager has a Clio 172 and has run a couple of different sets of coilovers on that.
Hi, yes they have different width / spacing on the struts than the other Clio models. We require a sample strut to correctly develop the 182 Cup version.
The width of the hub does very across the models, along with the bolt spacing.
The part no on the strut is 60RE02/xx - with xx being the bolt spacing - this can be 52, 54 or 58mm depending on which of the 3 versions you have.
It does sound like you have the wrong struts. As you bought through...
I was over visiting V-Maxx in Holland yesterday, and was pushing for a kit for the 182 with Cup suspension, and they're happy to work with us making this happen.
Initially we need a standard 182 Cup front strut (used is fine, but must be in working condition). If anybody can help us with...
Hi, we're just in the process of changing the V-Maxx website around a bit, and will have a new look including a new and improved gallery section going live in the next few weeks.
It'd be great if we could get a few more Clio pics on there. If anbody's fitted V-Maxx to their Clio and would like...
Hi, if anybody has pics of their Clio's on V-Maxx that they'd like to share, please email pics or links to gallery@v-maxx.co.uk and we'll get them added to http://www.v-maxx.co.uk/gallery.asp

This may have been confusion due to us expecting stock of these back in on Monday. However we have no stock, and to the best of my knowledge, none of our dealers have stock at present. Both the other Clio Mk2 part no's will be in stock from Monday, for the smaller engine models, but the 60RE03...
The latest delays are unfortunately due to manufacturing delays in Holland, as the popularity of 172/182 kits in the UK has taken them by surprise, as nobody in the rest of Europe really buys them. It's in no way due to Speedbox, or V-Maxx UK, and I can only pass on my apologies as I know a lot...
Not necessarily.
In the past V-Maxx have supplied Jamex UK with some coilovers, however their kits come from various suppliers, so absolutely no guarantee if you will get the V-Maxx or lower quality products. If you want to ensure you get V-Maxx, make sure the box says V-Maxx, and is sourced...
Hi, Pete from V-Maxx UK here. Unfortunately there are no plans for V-Maxx to develop 182 Cup coilovers, as they haven't seen sufficient interest throughout their worldwide dealer network. For V-Maxx to develop a kit for this model, we would need to place an order for at least 50 kits, so a lot...
Ok I've got an update now for you all.
Our delivery with the replacement dampers arrived late Monday, so all shipped out tonight with DPD. For people on mainland UK, they'll have them tomorrow (Wednesday), and for those in Highlands, NI, etc. they'll have them Thursday.
Hopefully there won't...
Hi guys,
I've only seen this thread, so thought I'd post to keep you posted.
We've had a limited batch of replacement dampers rushed through the factory to get these issues resolved. They've been packed onto our delivery today which is leaving Holland tomorrow and will be with us Monday...
