Lol, I'm being the guinea pig for V-Maxx Luke, these are the first set produced
Will be a good comparison though once the KTR set arrives!

how long you keeping them on for mate? When are the ktec ones getting put on? I want you to make a thread once you have compared them both. so do it properly!

I will try and keep them on for a couple of weeks to fully test them Luke, it just depends what Pete from V-Maxx requests I do and whether he wants/needs them taking off at any point.

No rush to fit the KTR ones but once these are off I'll be fitting that kit next.

I shall be reporting my findings on here so watch this space

Yeah these are just testers Carl. If they fit ok and all is well then they'll go into mass production for everyone to buy.

I'm not 100% certain whether I'll get to keep these or get a brand new set sent out, but either way I will have a set of V-Maxx suspension.

All depends on fit etc.

If people need different springs for their coilovers speak to 'Faulkner', just be mindful that if you do not have adjustable dampers and/or the ability to have them revalved they probably wont work particularly well.

Just to clarify for anyone wondering, I haven't received the rears yet so they're still 'as they were' with no change.

I was over visiting V-Maxx in Holland yesterday, and was pushing for a kit for the 182 with Cup suspension, and they're happy to work with us making this happen.

Initially we need a standard 182 Cup front strut (used is fine, but must be in working condition). If anybody can help us with supplying a strut, and possibly with trial fitting a kit later on, we would be happy to then supply a kit at a heavily reduced price of £200 (RRP should be £399.99 as with other Clio kits).

what you chosen, vmax or ktec? which is better for track and road? how harsh are they compared to the H&R's you had?

Right well, the H&R's I had I never fitted so can't comment there.

The K-Tec arrived yesterday so haven't fitted them yet. I don't have the V-Maxx rears yet but they're en-route as we speak.
I need to get the fronts set up properly to comment but I'm not doing that till I get the rears fitted next week

From first impressions I wasn't at all happy with the fronts, but I think that was bcause I had them too low. I was getting scrubbage on even the slightest bump and the front of the car was very twitchy. I have rasied it today about 30mm and have cured the scrubbage and twitchy issues, but the camber still needs doing.

They are definitely more harsh than my Cup suspension with Sportlines that I was running.
