Honestly , it was spot on this year. Everything was in the right place at the right time. From entrance , to parking , to camping . Knew where everything was and what to do.
Slightly dim the sun. Got sunburnt.
Make it cooler at night , was too hot in the tent
Make my BBQ easier to light , it was a pain.
Make the track have a bit of a longer straight please.
Thats all , thanks
I might have caused a waved yellow with a 90 degree spin and a metric shitload of dust !
I left the dusty part of the track with a massive set of 11s. Never wiggled the car that much before. Traction control was fully off ...
Its on my list along with donington.
Manifolds are being built so I should be able to get a bit more power out of it . Always thought it needed more power ..
I had some coilovers fitted to try and aid the turn in and release from bends. They were set too low at the front but my turn in was much much better. I need more toe in at the rear as it didnt feel planted. I also soften it a bit to aid in the power out of bends.
As you say , its not a c63...
No , they dont help movement cooling at all. You are releasing slow , low pressure air into a fast stream of high pressure air at the base of the windscreen causing turbulence
It will do no benefit. If you really , really must get air out as fast as possible look to add ducting directly after...
I have no doubt you are faster over the lap - but it shows what power can do - I was hitting in excess of 120 on the back straight where you were doing 96.
As I said , bends - they are another story ! :)
There are two ways of finding out Mr Dreads.
One of the ways involves fame and glory. The other involves a weekend of regret.
There are some very knowledgeable people who will get you back on the road should disaster happen !
This time next week someone will be throwing up on a tent , others will be dancing and Ill just be happy to have not parked me '63 on its roof.
Roll on CSF17 !
I would like to thank the organizers of the raffle ( looking at you @Kirsty ) here for sorting this out. The co-ordination of a herd of cats , whilst platting fog and pushing treacle uphill is a tough gig.
Thank you !
The injectors on the megs are a known weak point. You can replace al 4 for around £160. Its common for the megs to cough on idle when injectors are failing.
I believe it is seeing the 0 that isnt there , or I should say the null , as a null.
See if there is a CF rule for marking a cell if it is null , or ="" rather than a 0.
