I'm significantly cheaper for plain Brembo's (Click here)
You will not really see any performance gain from running drilled, grooved etc but cosmetically they look better.
Godspeed rear discs are better bearings if you want that look.
very. You need to have a totally different gearbox as they ran the driveshafts in front of the block and tilted the engines forwards so they could run the air to the valves in as straight a line as possible. Very clever bits of packaging to effectively make a mid engined chassis.
Its straight forward to work out but if you are looking for a kit like that on the facebook forum someone is selling a custom MeisterR GT1 coilover kit with the setup you need already. Its a good bit of kit and only has testing miles on it.
In short you basically double the spring rate in the...
Mine are on with no cable ties and have not moved at all :D
Yes. I separated my shop name from products I get created. Phillip is the supplier of the product and I brand and retail it.
I make more from selling Powerflex but this was one I felt needed to be sold. Sadly small volume manufacturing cannot compete with industrial leaders for cost per unit.
I'd personally look at other specialised underbody paints rather than powder coating as once damaged or cracked powder coating can let in water behind it.
There are lots of heavy duty anti rust paints that will be far superior. I really like the Buzzweld range but there are others.
As ever. I try and do things a little different.
I'm trying to see if I can get a lightweight 16" wheel for my 182. Its not an off the shelf setup so has to be made.
Has anyone got these measurements to hand? I could measure but its really cold.
Have to say I do like the look of the 16" wheels on my Trophy enough that I'm looking at what lightweight options are available rather than the 15" ultraleggera default
I think the standard lever works ok if you mount the seat lower. I certainly dont have an issue on track with mine but I've got a PMS shifter to change to.
Theres a good reason why the PMS rattles. To get the solid feel you have to remove the bushes at the gearbox end. This kit brings the gearlever to a new position but its not going to be a PMS substitute as it does not really sort the issue with the standard mechanism. I'd personally wait for the...
If your car is big enough it will still be stable with a single axle. To be honest I cant say I've ever noticed a difference when towing.
The main difference has always been a properly made trailer has a nice low centre of gravity compared to a cheap one made on a caravan chassis.
I'm not a fan of these solid mount inserts which was why we've worked with PhillipM to develop a honeycomb design that allows the exhaust to move with the engine. It means that the hangers and exhaust parts do not get stressed and crack.
Happily using the Grams bushes on my Clio :D...
I have Powermonger from Bullfrog in the attic. That has to be 1990 or around that time. Great game I think was almost impossible to complete with thousands of levels. I'll have more I'd imagine but I doubt I have the hardware capability. F117 Nighthawk maybe too.
This...
I'm not sure I really need more power and my car is for track only. The corners are the fun bit for me rather than chasing cars up the straights.
Hi Tom
The Powerflex bushes are all the same
23mm outer bush, 25mm inner,
I've certainly not seen any other combination for as long as I can remember.
We have them in stock here
I think some of the confusion years ago was because the Ph1 shared components with the Mk1 Williams and Powerflex did...
I do not know who makes the KTEC ones but I've not had any quality issues brought to light with Eibach bolts or Powerflex
Powerflex. Its however not a great way of doing things as an elongated hole is more durable.
I think realistically any minor handling effect will be mitigated by the significantly improved engine and gearbox. The K20 is such a jump in power compared to the B18, the weight is not really important nor the worse weight distribution in comparison.
Glad to be of service :D
Did the pops and bangs map just get annoying?
I've always felt the car needs a mid silencer otherwise it gives you a proper headache. It could be I'm just not young anymore though.
Kev
I was insuring mine on a trackday policy rather than everyday usage so that will make a big difference to what is accepted. I've a limited mileage just to get to and from events.
This... my car was borderline as to whether they would accept it due to not being modified enough as I had not replaced the seats from original or put a rollcage in.
That is despite running full race suspension.
This ones out the archives :D
I never did get time to build that racecar. However I put the Tractive suspension on a Clio Trophy and used Winmax W6 front then Winmax W4 on the back of that with no issues at all. I dont think many were able to brake later. From what I can tell a lot of racecars...
