A common problem with the megane scuttle area is the fabric card scuttle divider deforms, breaks and saga and looks shite, so did a wee mod: Much better :) Next issue was the battery cover - it doesn’t fit the original bracket :( So I had to make up a bracket: But all done and everything...

225 Trophy Engine bay tidy up. Started with this: Scuttle area cleaned and also found both drains blocked. A few parts bought: Engine cover rubbed down, sprayed Nimbus and decal applied: Boost sensor clamps fitted:

I like the standard look to be honest mate. I would carefully wipe it with thinners and get all your new paint back off it - should come of easily enough if it has been freshly painted and then start again.

2 things I can advise here: 1. Your original front arch/bumper liner has a flappy part missing that secures onto the vertical support bar. This is the main cover for the job. 2. There is another felt backed cover that fits in there but is mostly always missing/binned and quite rare to find...

Cromodoras need new rear tyres so reverted it back to oem+ look and ready for mot (whenever that can be).

Cambelt is usually engine out job but can be done insitu by undoing the mounts and tilting it but is very tricky! The main problem we are having is getting spare parts, hence why most are very rarely seen and driven steadily :)
