Headlights bulb was playing up so as the bumper had to come off I thought I would polish the headlights up as well as changing the bulbs:

I have got you. Think you have already said it - put the lacquer in hot water before use and make sure you shake the can until your arm hurts ;)
Another thing I do is heat the surface first (not to hot) with a heat gun first - gives good results and reduces risk of runs.
Have you thought about refurbing your originals caps? The centre diamonds push out.
Otherwise look on eBay for 57mm Renault centre caps - loads for under a tenner posted and decent quality.
That’s a shame mate.

Great project car mate.
I have done my handles on my 225 Trophy. You have 2 options (1) buy replacement standards ones as they don’t have the rubbery texture or (2) use thinners to remove the rubbery texture and then paint in the colour of your choice.

Screws along the full length of the sill underneath and then plastic clips in rear quarter section - be...
That is/was Pinky :) I was well into my novas back then.
Yes looking back at the cars now you think some of them are wtf but I personally loved the late 90’s - max power, fast car, car cruises, the burn outs, the banter - absolutely brilliant!!
Thank very much mate.
Was an epic day and one I will never forget. He was a great guy and brilliant at his job.
Thanks mate. Yes exactly this I hate rusty discs and painting the fins is a must do job.
