Leon Cupra R would be nice, but again for some reason the insurance on those seem to much more than the golf! Still need something slightly practical to take audio equipment so that kinda cancels out the MX-5 and the S2000 :p I did look at a 350z, always had a soft spot for those but again...
Yeah my heart is pretty set on the Gti i believe, was just checking the knowledge of CS for some advice on the pricing etc! It will still be quick, plenty of tuning potential and will be extremely comfortable (compared to the clio cup) for longer journeys, okay mate! Anything else i should look...
Reason behind a golf is the Insurance is pretty decent too, where as I looked into 330i's & they were also a lot more expensive & expensive to insure. Don't want an r26, I do like the Mazda 3 MPS but prefer the golf over it!
Yeah im after something a bit more all round, loved my clio but my job means a lot of late night driving and sometimes quite long distance so i needed something slightly better on fuel and a bit comfier, but still a nice quick hatchback!
Think so? I think its a pretty fair price, they hold their value so well and a lot of the other ones im finding around that price dont have the optional extras or the history that this one has!
Hi guys,
After finding out some pretty disastrous news about my Clio Sport 182, ive made the decision to get something completely different. A car I have always wanted but not been able to afford in the past its a 2005 Volkswagen Golf gti with pretty much every optional extra you could think of...
Ill hold my hands up and say i should have paid for a better hpi check, live and learn i guess... Not going to argue that i made the right decision, i guess the excitement of getting a new car took over! Lesson learnt :)
Honestly, i can't remember which hpi check it was... i believe it was a text one, I was too excited i didnt really think much into it and it came back as clear so in my mind that was it. Since then ive got a new phone and a new number so not even sure how id go about finding it... Ive been...
I should add, M40 CUO was a private numberplate that was on the car before i bought it... it was put back to the original reg BL54 KPA when i bought, then my private one has been put on since!

Let me know if these links work, that was the Hpi check that the buyer did yesterday! (it was done at a garage)
I did one when i bought it, it was clear... Had a viewing of my car yesterday, they did a hpi check and it came back as Cat D, i therefore did 3 yesterday just to make sure and 3 came back as saying it was a Cat D!
Will insurance companies have history of why it was written off because there is nothing in any of the history that i have that suggests why it was written off 9 years ago! I do have a picture of the hpi check... Two seconds
Hi guys,
After a bit of advice really, couldnt have much of a worse day to be honest!
I currently own a RB 182 cup and have done for the past 10 months... now im looking at selling up and buying a newer shape Clio 200.
It was HPI Checked and it came back clear but after 3 seperate checks, it...
Couple of updates, decided to replace my numberplate holders and put some brand new ones on... Who knew this sticky back plastic was such a ball ache to get off! Although I do kinda like the look of the car with no numberplate at all.. oops

Oh and on another note...
Last week the car went in to the garage for some other work done on it, Its had brakes fitted on all 4 corners! I went for Brembo discs and pads :)
Another thing that has been bugging me recently was a knocking noise coming from the front left side wheel arch, the...
