Couldn't deal with a lass who plays football, haters gonna hate but I can't bloody stand it! Now a lass who drives!
Now we are talking!!! :tongueclosed:
Holy crap the weight loss is addictive! Once you go stripped you'll never go back haha! I'm currently driving around with one seat in because the MPG and acceleration never stops putting a smile on my face lol I keep telling myself I'm gonna put the carpet back in lol....one day 🙈
Sadly the Lada doesn't get much love and it genuinely is sad as it belonged to my Granddad who passed away and left me it. I would love to restore it to its former glory as it a cool little car! I learnt to drive in it! Mainly in a field drifting around a tree! And it was my first car I ever...
Yeah I did buddy, sorry if it sounded like I was slating the bigger diameter I wasnt lol they are far more superior as they can transfer a much greater force. And typically the bigger diameter dampers have a much higher oil viscosity to compensate
Ahh would explain the AVO sticker on the back dampers lol i thought that was just a sticker someone had put on, I cant say ive ever really heard of them. Might do some digging haha  they had some beefy diameter piston too
Yeah interesting. The bigger damper can give a better damping feel but can have sometimes have a negative effect on track when running without a piggyback/ remote oil reservoir as the bigger piston diameter gives a smaller oil cappacity, thats why for eg the sachs dampers have a reservoir. The...
Take it, Its is the larger diameter part. Was looking at some calcs and piston diameters and when I took somes of @Apg100 we was trying to deduce what model they were.
Edit: these look like a totally different strut unit?
Popped into work the other day and had a good catch up chat with my boss and he was been okay so chances are he may let us! Just finding the best time to ask him 🙈
Yeah properly haha!! Well yeah and know mate! They are nylocs on the inside and I hate re using them! But thats just me yeah you can get away with for a few times but its just bad practice.
Ive got some brand new genuine Renault ones at home ill measure the threads on them an post em up mate. If they are the same that is. Surely they must be if theyve sent them out with out any. Id get some K-Nuts too. Because #OCD 🙈
It all depends on the pitch of the thread mate to how low one rotation off the spring platform will do it, unless your corner weighting it, just measure of the subframe either side for ride height purely on a cosmetic side of things. Its always recommended to get it corner weighted though...
8:30 blimey that's a lie in for me that haha! Ill have to set off a bit earlier anyway to beat the crappy morning rush out of Huddersfield so ill be there around 8 more than likely chief! otherwise id be late! It was like that for my commute to Optimum just down the road in Horbury.
Butties...
little bit of hate for you right now....😢
still cant believe they don't give you a a nut for the rear damper proper drives me insane that haha all for the cost to them of probably 10p
Haha couldn't agree more with you mate! Cant wait to get stuck in! Any idea what time you'll be there in the morning? be nice to start early, its a shame I need to dash off for my evenings lectures, Id miss them if i could but there's no room for error missing the work. Especially at Masters...
