Hmmmm..... no... are they also a spot for stone chippage...?! Balls...! 😣
I’m not really a fan of getting half a panel protected... because you’ll always seen the edge of the film... 🤔 Might have a chat with Matey tomorrow when I collect it!!
Following the paint correction and polishing, I wanted to have a go at this PPF game, to see if it protects the front of the car from everyday driving life.
Found a guy local to me who’s an Xpel authorised installer so dropped the car off to him this Wednesday, and he’s just shared with me some...
Popped my reproduction b-pillar badges on today.
Gave them a little spruce up with some silver paint first:
Then after measuring out where I wanted them, it was just a case of sticking them on..
Chuffed with the finished results:
Thanks for taking a look! 👀
Collected the Clio 182 Cup from the most excellent @detailR today and totally blown away with what he has achieved... let’s let the pictures do the talking..
Had a fabulous drive home with my wife driving the Clio whilst I drove my Raider. We found a quiet bit of road and managed to...
Took the Clio out again for a drive last Sunday to while away a few hours, and even came across a Mk1 Focus RS for a little play with at the end of my drive..
Absolutely love driving this car at the moment, but (as you can hear) the vibration from the PMS Shifter is getting on my T1ts...
Took the Clio out for a drive today... bloody love this little car.
Just need to get the gearbox back out though to fix the 5th gear Synchro issue, crunches like a bugger 😖
Thanks for the shout-out @Jack1998 👍👍
As @Coops Mk1 will testify, I would love an Oddy Ph1 to have restored for myself and kick myself that I sold my wife’s one some years ago that was in good order.. 🤦🏼♂️
But, I proper love my RB 18💩 now and looking forwards to using it more in 2021
Look...
Only got one key with the Clio when I bought it 🙁 so was always on my mind to get another one or two cut..
I had a quick eBay search the other day and stumbled across these fellas:

I did a quick google search and understood that I needed to programme...
Did you measure the depths the bushes were the pushed into the axle before you knocked them out..? It’s not just a case of pressing them in all the way, if you do, the Axle won’t fit..
The OE bushes are a real pain in the RS... if I did it again, I’d be fitting polybush jobbies.
But what you need to do mate, is get in touch with a chap on eBay called darren69darren9 and ask him to manufacture a pair of bushes like he made for me in April 2020..
he should be able to track the...
I’ve been getting into biking over summer 🚴♂️ and have obtained all the gear... but as they saying goes.. still missing the idea 😆.
Ive been looking at options of how I can mount a bike on the roof of my Megane so I can take the bike away easily without disassembling it all and then putting it...
I can’t really comment on the difference, as I’ve not driven the car, before the roll Centre kit was fitted.
What I can say though is I feel this car is damn near the best handling car I’ve ever driven for giving me the INSTANT confidence to throw it at a series of bends and feel assured it’s...
OKAY, OKAY.... ignore anything negative I might have said in that last post.... THIS LITTLE CAR IS BLOODY AWESOME!!!!!
Had a drive out today with some MUCH More exclusive and expensive equipment and didn’t feel left out ONCE!
I now understand why the motoring press used to say these cars...
Yesterday was the day to see this project wrapped up, as I took the car to Chris/Scoff at EFI Tuning to be mapped so I can finally drive it properly rather than potter around at my own imposed 4K Limit,
Just to remind you all what’s been done to this engine during this build:
Cylinder honing...
Finally got round to fitting my Roll Centre kit from @Tomotek today.
A fabulous bit of kit with everything you need and super clear instructions, all credit to Scott, it’s well worth the money 👍👍
I know many people are concerned about the open bearings on these roll Centre kits, as there’s...
the OE one gets away with it by having the connections at an angle, but you don’t really “see” it when it’s under the car. The exhaust fabricator did it this way, so all connections are straight, and I prefer it this way. 👍
Nipped down to a local garage that offer custom exhaust fabrication and had a chat with the guy about removing the restriction in the original Catalytic Converter 🐱.
After a few minutes of chatting I was soon talked round to removing the OE cat all together and replacing it with a 200 Cell...
