Do it online, you only need the reference number on the log book to tax it
Then you get 5 working days grace for it to arrive & if you're really bothered about not having it displayed & getting pulled, print off the receipt you're sent & show that as proof you've taxed it ;)
I think that plastic bit needs to stay there, think it's for getting reverse, will be the case if it's a valver but not sure about the lower models
Take a photo of it & post it up ;)
Pointless goin F4R tbh, watched Beanie's car make the same power, 2 point something bhp less, than cliolords car at surrey rolling road a few weeks ago, both similar spec, forged high comp bottom ends, silly cams and ITB's. An F4 in a williams is just plain wrong to begin with anyway, plus...
From what I've heard of other peoples experience of breaking them you're looking at getting about £1,000 - 1,500 from breaking it, but you'd obviously have to factor in the time & effort required to 1st strip it, then secondly to sell everything.

In response to recent Mk1 activity in here I've decided a complete ASW update is required :D
They're coming together & I wanted to see what they looked like fitted to a head
I fcuking love these 2 pics
The words I'd use to describe them are OM,
NOM,
NOM
and NOM...
Yeah but my point is more about the cost of an old & tired F7R in the 1st place, then you get the occasional jammy cnuts like you or the OP that manage to find them for peanuts or free that completely ruin my argument  but fcuk it, I'll keep digging :rasp: but a fresh F7P surely has to be...
Get yourself on www.clio16valver.co.uk you'll find all the bits you need for sale on there plus a few local guys who will help point you in the right direction too ;)
I'd strongly recommend you spend some money on stripping down & rebuilding that engine before you drop it in to make sure you...
