Great pics :approve: That Morgan was immense as was the RSR, I was a tad upset when I saw that half facing the wrong way & in the barrier at the chicane, but it looked like he got away without damaging it & was back out making an epic noise

    What would you do?

I used to have 1 of those, death on wheels those things lol! I blew up the engine in spectacular fashion on that thing before it killed me :rasp:

    What would you do?

Don't waste your money on another car then, 20 miles each way is nothing in a little 1.2 ;) Stick with it then think about this again when you're in a more favourable position with insurance & long term finances, cars break no matter what age they are, it's a fact of life. Getting another car &...

    How many mk1 owners

Apparently the RSi's are mega rare now, 127 left on the road & 36 SORN'ed
  9. 16v_paddy

    What would you do?

What does age of the car have to do with anything? If the commute is a long one a smaller engine is going to be much better, what is it in distance? I live 8 miles from work but sometimes it can take me nearly an hour to get there. I'd say keep your current car plus insurance companies look upon...

Clio Mk1 (williams or valver) handle as well as the mk2 172/182

 Unfortunately this sort of moronic anti-mk1 posting still happens quite a lot on here you just have to try & ignore it  Yes please! But I get the feeling Haribo & sexual favours aren't acceptable payment methods :(

    Mk1 @ Donington Park

O/S front wing bore the brunt of the impact, I'd imagine the upholstery cleaning bill is significantly steep as well :rasp:

    Mk1 @ Donington Park

But he eventually wrapped it into the tyres a couple of laps after he came past whiteley's car (with me as ballast inside it) rather sideways

Don't suppose there's any more with that red valver in the background behind the white one? Wasn't expecting my car to be out on track but I let Dan borrow it after killing his box Was still bloody quick as well

valver experts please help me out with my loom ?

But from the sounds of it I'm guessing the 1st 4 are going to be crank sensor and the 3 connections on the thermostat housing or, depending what you've already got plugged in, they could be to the aux water pump or the fan switch on the radiator As for the others they sound like they could be...

    Every Clio i see

I'd agree with you to an extent there, but I honestly do see at least 3 or 4 RS clios every day, must be bloody loads up here. I'd say that I notice lower model mk3's more than than the mk2's but that's because they're so fuckin big it upsets me that they're even called a clio
