Early 16v engines (01-04) have a lot of common problems, throttle body, injectors, ecu kits, top inj wiring looms! We even sell a lot of the engines / gearboxes! More than the 1.2 8v anyway!

The reason you are quoted so much is because the insurance companies use new parts, those prices I said were used parts! It's then based on a percentage against the value of a car if it get repaired or not! I guess it's just up to you! The deciding factor for me would be how cheap you could get...

Well they are useless until you don't have them, then automatically you car has been a front end smash cat c write off worth 50p ;) I'm sure that's how it goes on the forum anyway!

Approx £60 for a rear axle (bare) and anything from £50 for the wheel, plus refurb to match it back to the other ones! Up to you if you repair it, if you know it was a good car before and you can get it back cheap enough I don't see why you wouldn't repair it!

Qtr section repair & painted approx £500, looks like it has missed the rear bumper, rear light £20, depending how hard you have hit the wheel possibly new axle time & by the looks a new wheel!

She has tried to do do that and when it does it is recognised by itunes but the phone remains frozen on the logo and then after about 5 mins it turns to that spinning wheel logo? Its so annoying because it was working fine before all the emails working etc, its only once shes tried to restore...

We do them for a 99p charity donation, but you need to take the head unit out to get the number off the side, it takes literally 2 seconds to pull out with radio pins!

Thats basically the only reason we ever sell fuel tanks, if someone has drilled it! We also sold a 182 seat to someone before, as some had prized the door open to steal the seat :S

Wouldn't trust the engine in that tbh, surely you would just replace the coil pack if it was that, which is a very easy / cheap job to do!

We sell absolutely loads of the d7f engines, really easy to fit if you did need to put a new one in though!

Think I paid £40 a wheel to have my 182 wheels done by a mobile guy. He's based in Doncaster but I'm not sure how far he travels? Did a pretty good job!
