Am sure that's true although I also know of 'specialists' and garages who work on more exotic machinery too who can't get the timing correct on a Clio, I guess anyone can have an off day just wouldn't want them too if it was me paying the £650+ :smile:
Give Engine Dynamics a ring they are near Harlow so not a million miles away, I believe they would be cheaper than the price you already have and know what they are doing :up:
Will try my best to look after her Dan :up: their is a list of things already I want/need to do, hopefully you get to see it again at some point in the future, if you are ever over this way shout!
Sounds like the one I have just picked up and you are in Cambs, I am not a million miles away, shout if you need any help with anything it's my 2nd Ph1 and I also have a 172 cup
Am going to keep the Ph1 and the Ph2 cup updated in this thread, hopefully makes it easier, can't deal with more than one thread :smile:
This weekend's job was to get the new rear shocks on the Ph1, here they are, supplied by Dan when I purchased the car which was good of him :up:
No shots...
Yes essentially, I have already broken one which I thought was for the right reasons but I just felt I hadn't finished with a Ph1. It won't be tracked or stripped for parts, I intend to do whatever work needs doing now and in the future and keep it for the long term :up:
It's funny I thought...
So bit more info... didn't mean to be so elusive before :smile:
Bought the car from @DerbyDan last night... I met Dan when I was breaking my previous Ph1 as he purchased a couple of bits off me and we had a brief chat about his car and I commented then how clean it was compared to mine. It...
I got my inspiration from your thread :smile: and the fact I have it written down and I am going to lose it before to long and forget what has been done :up:
All being well will have an interesting update later this week but for now thought I would get current spec list up for the cup, hadn't driven it for over a week as been in France driving an XC90 around on holiday, such a great feeling to get back in it and have a quick blast this evening :up:

@MrBlonde
@AlexW has a couple of sets he uses on his silver cup (black & white), don't know whether Mark @Dr Jekyll has any pics from the weekend with them on? If not I could get some pics next time I go over, probably not till next weekend though :up:
Look forward to seeing it with the new dash, never been a massive fan of flocking! Love my PMS shifter such a great mod, you can get round the extra noise it makes because of how good it is :up:
Not too bad :up: never managed to get good at welding myself, have tried a few times. Does anyone know if you can you buy complete sills or part sills? Is their a company who make them?
Arghh, wish I had kept my V6, life got in the way unfortunately, they are such a great car, did you buy it brand new? Is it standard other than the wheels?
My PMS rattles like that, like you say not all the time but still... I read somewhere, not sure it was on here that someone had put sand in the linkage between the bottom of the shifter and the gearbox and that made a difference. PMS also sell a weight that is supposed to help, although have...
