Yea it still happens if the car has been running for an hour.
I had the timing belt changed about 6months ago and its been fine up until the last few days, could it just suddenly slip or something?
Started s few days ago, when the car gets to about 5,000 rpm it just increase the revs really slowly, almost feels like its just hitting the limiter, which of course its way off.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Very unlikely. I work for a broadband supplier and we would certainly not cancel the contract for those reasons and I cant see a phone contract being much different.

Maybe I've watched too many police, camera, action style shows, but it seems very, very common, for the driver of a car after a chase like that one to try and leg it once he has no where else to drive. The coppers must think the same so they clearly want to get him under arrest asap.
They had to get him under control quickly as he may have tried to run if they just stood around waiting for him to get out of the car himself. That is not assault, thats arresting him in a suitable manner considering the situation and the likeyhood he may give it one last run if they didnt get...
Or lets go on what we can see in the video. The dude put his arms out of the window as a clear sign he was giving himself up. Another copper had the situation under control. The copper in question then helps drag the dude out of the car which is fine. I have no issue with the way they pulled him...
Not a chance would they go to that much effort. A few years ago a van hit my car when it was parked up. I wasnt as the scene but several witnesses viewed everything and left a note on my car. The van driver drove striaght off but they took down his reg etc and were willing to give statements...
