I'd recommend Wash before Iron X, Do you have and Tar remover? If you do give that a whirl before polishing aswell to get the cleanest base you can. Does the paintwork need polishing or do you just want to do it? In this weather if it's not needed I'd skip it as drying a car in cold conditions...

At the end, I'd probably skip the wax and just use Hydro2.... its essentially a sealant so I replace my waxing with sealants for winter.

Anyone foresee any issues putting Hydro2 over 50 Cal Cover Up? If the weather allows going to try and get this combo put on my car this week to get it looking reasonable for the winter.

    The new TV thread

That's a good price BUT is it worth them going 4K when it's just going to be used for Freeview or are they better just spending more on the best 1080p TVs has to offer? What would you go for around 50" for people in their 60's who are useless with tech. No set budget but say up to £800.

My parents tv has failed so will be after a new one, They don't need anything too special as will be lost on them. This likely to be any good? http://m.richersounds.com/#!/product/SONY-KDL49WD751BU No idea what their budget is, Think their last one cost them £1200 a good few years ago...

It's a lovely car but those rear shots make the plate look like it's positioned ever so slightly too low, May just be the pics though.

I would definitely get a spray head for it. As for curing time (I've not used it in ages) I don't think it really needs any specific time, Maybe apply to a panel, Do next panel then buff of first panel?
