The car looks fantastic now, the wheels and everything look spot on - re. the spacers, I know what you mean but I too have those same 5mm ones from Pure and being only 5mm (but with 30mm bolts), I've never had any issues whatsoever so hopefully you should be fine.

Re. the steering wheels, I know i'm biased BUT the Sparco with centre horn push looks soooo much better. IMO!

'shout out' to the beautiful red MGA as well, my Dad had one in the same colour in the early 70's up until 1976 when he sold it for an MGC - which he had until 2014!!
That does sound proper naughty on the decat, think you've made the right choice there Mark - tempted to decat mine sometimes but would be more of a hassle for me come MOT time so haven't bothered, but that's a real touch you can swap them over so relatively simply!
For me personally, seems a more durable/longer lasting better finish? I'm no expert at all and hopefully someone can correct me if wrong, but both my sets of wheels are powder coated and very very pleased with the finish I have. Had a painted set on my old Civic Type-R and seemed to chip easily...
