Been neglecting this thread, tbh I completely forgot about the channel until a new vid went up today, since Roadkill is no more unless you give them money it looks like this will have to do for anyone needing a muscle car fix, there's always 1320 but there's only so much of going in a straight...
I guess the fact that it's rare and different gets it noticed, like seeing an American car on UK roads, it turns everyone's heads because you don't see them everyday, I see Porsche 911's & Nissan GTR's all the time, but when a tatty old Mustang burbles past me I nearly crash my car from staring...
What do the Canadians & Yanks make of the 172, do they even know what they're looking at?
I imagine they think it's a cute little toy right up until it out accelerates their 3 ton V8 SUV.
I find oil changes a piece of piss on 1*2's but I have been doing them on mine for years, I will admit the first one was a pain in the arse, but once you've had the fuel rail guard off once and not snapped the threads it's easy after that, I also use the claw thing which always gets the filers...
So after a quick search you can buy these with MOT for around £300, £30 tax, it runs on veg oil, parts that cost peanuts, what's insurance like?
I think we might have a winner for the cheapest car to buy and run in the UK.
Quite like these as a base for something, or just buy a load of them and cover the car.

Yeah i'm going to rip that boot lid off and throw it in the bin, f*cking thing drives me mental!!
It's actually the Powerflex exhaust mount that's to blame, bloody thing has zero flex in it so all the vibration goes through the cabin.
How could I forget about the Chevy Step side pick up that looks like it's been left in the desert for 50 years!? That's possibly the coolest thing in that place.
Mate there are so many crazy cars that come and go in that yard it's mental, i've seen old V8 Jags, old BL trucks, various classics, there's currently a Capri 2.8i rolling shell, a Land Rover Lightweight, an MX5 drift car, a couple of off road prep'd Suzuki Vitara's with lift kits and winches...
Cheers lads i'm really happy with it, I think the biggest improvement (other than it works now) is the headlight restoration Ryan did, it's amazing how just having clear headlights can transform how an old car looks.
I think i'm going to start looking after it a bit better now it's had so much...
First proper drive out today, after using the near silent Mazda and Passat all winter i'd forgotten how much the Clio feels and sounds like an angry old shed loosely held together with hopes, dreams, zip ties and gaffa tape (the last two are actually true), but i'd also forgotten how totally raw...
Are you talking full vehicle wrap, or something more generic that's easier to apply?
There's loads of cheap vinyl stripes, logos and various other stuff on ebay you could do in sections that could make up a full livery without it costing the earth or looking like sh*t, depends how creative...
If you hadn't just had the whole lot replaced I would have said Dehasper, it's still a possibility but a knackered Dephaser sounds like a Black Cab's diesel engine.
I'd take it back to the garage that did the work and see what they say, there'a a possibility that one of the parts was defective...
Got it back yesterday with a fresh mot and re-taxed it after it's been sorn'd all winter, so good to back in my fast little toy, Ryan followed me home in his 200bhp Astra Diesel but he had no chance of keeping up when I opened it up a bit, neither did some fam in his Golf GTD when the lights...
