I think if it wasn't CDPR, people's expectations would've been lower.
I got a refund on my original console version but I've just paid £20 for the PC code, not played it yet though
Genuinely how much would you want for it? I'd sell my 3070 and make up the difference if you were serious... and didn't want £2k for it  (but I understand if you do, you scalping scumbag )
For fixed perspective stuff then VR is king, yeah.
FPS and anything remotely open world then UW setups are where it's at. RDR2, GTA, Horizon, Death Stranding etc all look incredible on an UW
Witcher 3 has deeper and more polished side quests than all of CP2077's main story.
I'm looking forward to playing W3 again on PC on the ultrawide, it's meant to be an excellent game for it.
Scratch that, it's been delayed until next Wednesday. FFS. I wouldn't mind if they didn't advertise 5-10 days for 3070 builds when I ordered.
Seems like once they've got your money they're pretty keen to be realistic.
I can't really grumble too much, if I don't have it then they'll...
I got this on PC last month when it was £20. I'll try it again once my 3070 comes this week.
It was completely unplayable on console at launch, hopefully the few patches have made it better. Do the police still just spawn in behind you?
Yep. the whole situation sucks tbh.
That's the main reason I went for a prebuilt, it'd be f*cking September if I waited for a card as a consumer at this rate.
Yep, I mainly play Destiny 2, driving games and RPGs so it's ideal for me, pretty much full support and so immersive.
Working on it earlier I was able to have my email, InDesign, Illustrator and my Google Chat open on the same screen and all fully usable  I could never go back now...
Yeah same, they're immersive for gaming and incredible for productivity too.
The desk isn't a desk, I had to order a kitchen worktop and mount legs to it! It's the only thing that was long enough for what I needed. It's 2200mm x 900mm, I had that size so it'd be the full length of the wall and...
I've got the office/cave pretty much where I want it now. Added some artwork, ambient lighting and a few other bits. Managed/routed all the cables neatly underneath, so satisfying to work here now. Just waiting for my new PC to arrive now.
I regularly play the classic stuff on the Switch - old Marios, Pilotwings etc
I have the original Metal Gear games emulated too, so they get played every few years if there's nothing new out!
Yeah, a LOT of systems on eBay without GPUs would suggest that's what people are doing.
My build slot with Scan is still fixed for the 23rd collection. Ages off still but better than taking the risk in the open market atm.
Ha, yeah I've just not seen the need to upgrade it really. Same with the phone, I still have the XS Max now it's out of contract.
Mobile devices are so good these days that I really have to see a marked improvement to warrant that extra cash... either that or I've become a bit more sensible in...
Nice spec for Curry's tbh, hopefully you won't need to rebuild/tidy it all up!
Unless you're really lucky, prebuilt is the quickest way to get a 30 series atm. I've done the same with Scan since they're local to me.
A few months in and it's still smashing everything I throw at it. Even hooked up to my 5120x1440 Odyssey it's unfazed.
I couldn't recommend an M1 enough.
Maybe yeah, with the desk being 850mm deep you really don't notice it too much. I'd gain about 300mm back from arm-mounting it though.
The trouble is finding an arm that's rated to hold the thing! There are a few but they're not cheap... no maybe something I'll sort down the line once the PC is...
