Caved. Bought Asetto, downloaded a load of mods and just ordered a G920. F*ck my lack of self restraint. If I really get into it then I'll look at that Fanatec when it comes out.

Isn't that just the base unit though? Plus pedals and shifter too make it £500+?

G920 any good as a starter PC wheel? It needs to desk mount, I don't really have the room for anything crazier.

Unreal mate, I can't recommend one enough. I went big on the 49" Odyssey CRG9 (didn't like the 100R curve on the G9) 5120x1440 makes all you old favourite games worth replaying. New titles like Cyberpunk and FS2020 look incredible too.

Dartmoor's fantastic, yeah. I think Chongqing is my favourite so far... proper Cyberpunk feel to it!

Yeah, it really does. I've already downloaded Hitman 1 and 2 on PC as well, might as well play them all though again since they were cheap

F*ck me it's good, would fully recommend if you've liked the previous games. Definitely one of the prettiest current games too

Picked up Hitman 3 on PC for £29. I loved all the previous games and the reviews seem fantastic. I'll be smashing some of that later.

One of the better games for ultrawide setups. Really enjoying this again, it's like a remaster on PC after playing it on console at launch! :cool: 5120x1440, pretty much everything on Ultra.

Yeah that's it. Scan had 60Tis and 70s in stock but 80s were "coming soon" and I didn't fancy gambling. Overclocked the 70 last night and got another 15-20 frames from it in some scenarios, just using Afterburner. It's still really, really impressive and knocking on for the 120hz limit I have...

Haha cheers guys. In an ideal world I'd have gone 3080 but it's 2021... I'm lucky to find any 30 series card right now. :LOL: Just tested it on Destiny 2 and getting 80-90 frames at full 5120x1440, pretty decent. Also Windows is sh*te and ugly.

Got it all set up, needs some tweaking and optimising but it's awesome on first impressions. I've only played Destiny 2 on it so far though and barely played with any settings. Basic spec is: Fractal Meshify 2 Fractal 360mm AIO 5600X ASUS 3070 OC 16GB RAM (another 16GB in the post) 1TB Samsung...
