Ah I see! Yeah, because of the different curves of the strips it's quite difficult to get spot on. It's possible though using heat and perhaps getting a mate to give you a hand.
I noticed a bad smell when I put my front windows down and upon investigation found out that it's likely to be coming from this little wet patch underneath the rear bench. It's a small amount and I'm airing it out, and the bench, so that hopefully the smell disappears.
