Unlike many other cars like saxo's I heard cda will just cost you power on a clio.
Cup spoiler is a must. I gotta repaint mine as I went a bit mental with the machine polisher :D
At first I thought I would probably go to town with the 172 but as the mileage increases the less im inclined to modify it (at present it only has a cup spoiler, ktec exhaust and dogbone mount) I have to keep telling myself I eventually want a Clio 200 cup in alien green so im trying to hold...
Whereabouts is that? Purdeys or stock road?
I would keep the sunstrip and lose your sunvisors for weight lossage.
Get a cup spoiler
Spray your bump strips body coloured
and then get a standard airbox and come play Clio with me lol
Also at such low speeds the lorry drafting effect only has about a 3-4mpg advantage imo as you just aren't going that fast for aero to have a huge affect. Obviously if theres a decent wind its a different story.
Well my first trial journey to work with the cruise control I did a 51.7mpg average including stopping at services and blasting off the slip road and about 4-5 blasts coming off roundabouts. I think 58 is about the max you can realistically get unless you have overinflated tyres like you say and...
Just need to keep rolling to maintain good mpg thats the real trick to it and also on motorways to keep below 70 (which at 70 I still get about 44-45mpg)
Im the feeling the Clio 200 love. I've test drive about 3 or 4 now just because lol Last time I test drove one I ended up buying a Twingo 133. I will deffo own one at some point when I can justify the cost/benefit over the 172.
Please put the sport kit on your car btw. The gay front bumper is...
Where does everyone do their "playing?"
I tend to go round waitrose way. No pedestrians and I know where the coppers hide so a quick recce and foot goes down
I've been purposefully doing it with the missus in the car lately and shes given the green light for some trackdays this year "to...
Im round thetford way when im working which is pretty handy as 15 mins to snetterton is much better than at least an hour to brands hatch from where I live.
As I have a 172 what do I need to do just purchase one off a 172 owner and then pay to have it unlocked and for a map (as my car will have panel filter and catted ktec exhaust)
As Mr Tom said I think I remember reading somewhere that you have to scrape out the paint where the wheel bolts go or they come loose. Im sure a google search would bring up some results as I've read it a lot on many forums.
Sort of. I've not driven a hatchback that could handle as well apart from maybe the 200 cup and the current 172 is nowhere near to it when it comes to corners.
Im thinking maybe AP racing coilovers might sort it out a bit.
