Just found this old picture the other day. This is how I'd like the Clio to end up.

I hope to also get down to Snett and do some days. Preferably this year. New brakes are a must as mine barely lock up now and have a few mm left. Would be nice to have some decent suspension but doubt I'll have the funds this year.

The gear stick issue is normal and I have the same problem but have just adapted to it. That scrubbing noise was horrendous and I couldn't watch the whole video! God knows how you didnt pull over and sort it out!

Didn't bother with the splitter in the end. Its not like its going to actually do anything and will probably sell the cup spoiler too as its heavy as hell compared to the sport one, makes the rear window dirty and imo is less aerodynamic. Oh you want pictures? Okay here's some after its wax today.

Also if I had the cash at the moment decent suspension and brakes would be my only wish oh and some buckets so I wouldnt fall out the standard seats. The back end on my standard sport seems nice but the front end is all soft and wallowy. Something will definately have to be done about that in...

Impressed with the tyres...though I noticed there are now "outside" wheel weights on the wheels could just be me but it feels like the steering is even more vague and iffy. If I go round a slow coner and boot it you would expect the wheel to straighten itself but it doesnt like to without some...

LOL that radiator is ridiculously big! God help the car if you were to ever add a turbo. Lorry sized intercooler :D

If I had the spare cash Instead of turini's I'd be purchasing some lighter and cheaper (Because Clio scene tax) team dynamics.

Will have to have a good look into it. Maybe just try to do some more trackdays and go from there. Least with trackdays you can just get on with it and don't need to worry about memberships/equipment etc.

I have a non cupped car on ditch finders. I'll be using rainsport 3's as of the day after tomorrow so we'll see what they are like.

What the spec of the production class Clio's? Do they cater for 172's?

Its not a definite but I am very much interested even if it means I did just a single race a year.
