These are cool cars. Used to have a customer with one I loved driving it. Had loads of issues with coil packs on it and they aren't cheap

It should be fine I just need the parts to hurry and arrive so I can get in the garage and play with the welder

I'm not running vvt on mine but i would love some different cams to go in

The exhaust housing it the same size as a gt2860 which helps with the spool it's not much bigger than a gt2860 and as said mapping can help with spool if it's than bad for spool I can always start lighten the flywheel to increase the speed it revs

It will have lag but how much I don't know. It should have full boost by 3500 rpm

Thanks to dan@sjm I now have a gt3071 turbo, I have started ordering parts to make my new manifold. I also have a epas conversion I just need to get a new aux belt. I will also be deleting the abs which should give me enough room for the turbo

Why have they sent them to remair? I thought they was having someone run a bead around them

I found also they was expanding with heat and the jcs ones have been spot on

[emoji106] yea I tried the big t bolt clamps they are s**t I'm using jcs hi grips now they are brilliant and cheap

They are ally pipes so won't be cheap would need to be tiged

I do know this but having shot clamps to begin with didn't help

I sorted mine with decent hose clips and a couple I doubled up because I couldn't be fucked to remove the old ones. job jobbed

Took the car to the expo at the weekend with mr potter didn't so just an update of the Clio being clean for the 1st time in a long time
