Hi Mark,
Welcome aboard! Interesting background with your BMWs - how does switching back to FWD motion feel after all these years??
With regards to the belts - there are two to factor-in. The cambelt has a service schedule of five years or circa 70k and the auxiliary one (which is commonly...
I'm a couple of years in for my modified 182 policy costing less than the annual VED charge.
Strangely, when we moved here - various insurance companies were twitchy given that we had a Blackburn postcode, yet are miles away from there. Somehow (which defies all mental logic) they thought our...
Customer - car is broken
Garage - HULK SMASH!
Customer - but my car is still broken. And is now in pieces.
Garage - meh.
Don't scrap it - but as others, external support like citizens advice or trading standards should be involved here. The garage's actions have proven to be ridiculous.
I created a thread for it a few months back. Still haven't got around to sorting it... 😄

Hopefully not too badly!
Yeah, I get what you're saying. But on BG cars - they look naff - to me anyway. I thought that from Day 1 when I picked it up new - like the car had been sat in some desert sun somewhere and the light clusters had faded.
When I had them changed, it made the front end...
Where did you get the passenger side one from, please? That has some internal pitting an a small crack in the plastic within the unit itself.
It irritates me how Renault switched from the dark grey surround to that crappy faded-plastic grey surround on the later units. The later units look crap...
The extremely technical and involved process of swapping out the nearside rear indicator bulb.
I was pleasantly surprised that I knew exactly where my pack of spare Silvatec bulbs were, also.
A fair comment - it is a possibility?
This the status of mine...
Mine are well out of warranty period now and without wanting to sound like an irritating fanboi - they are absolutely brilliant pieces of kit. I use them every time I'm in the office to drown out other people with the noise...
@NorthloopCup fitted the Ph.1 final drive to my gearbox when it had its rebuild. For me personally, I think it was worth the swap over and glad that I did it.
The fact you've posted that, tells you something. ;)
Slower. Older. Bummed harder for the VED. Yet you're still considering it.
Some things don't always make sense to want them.
I've replaced the boot solenoid twice on mine - it's pretty easy to do.
When you say you replaced it, did you line it up correctly as well? Any difference in locking noise when you press the button on the key fob?
I'll guess that the file type on the USB stick itself isn't accepted by the header unit.
NTFS would be a good standard to pick, but I'll guarantee that a lot of devices will not support it. I'd personally try to obtain a USB that was less that 8GB or less in size and USB2.0 only - before...
I remember back in the days of me looking into my first car - which was a Punto Sporting 1.6 8v.
The quotes I got were pretty expensive - so I looked into the non-turbo 1.7 diesel version. The insurance company actually wanted a higher premium because the engine was 'larger capacity'.
I argued...
TLDR - if you liked either CoH1 or CoH2 - definitely buy this.
So, just over a month into it and I have completed the main Italian dynamic campaign and have started on the storyline/linear North Africa campaign. I'd argue that I'm actually preferring the North African campaign at the minute -...
That's exactly how mine behaved, a good 10+ years ago.
It drove fine one Saturday morning - with no previous issues. Then about an hour later, I made another short journey and this happened once I tried to restart it. Luckily, Halfords was just over a mile away and they had a matching battery...
That's the issue. Paying a grand for a pair of seats that are brand new is one thing. Paying that for potentially 18-years worth or so of arses, farts, drinks and other crap to be on them, is something entirely different.
I'd like them. But not that much.
Isn't it only the 182 (V6 excluded here) that's different with it not having a wheel well at the back for a spare?
Other than that, the floorplan is identical and as you say should fit anything across the range.
If this was a very old version of Windows (XP and older) - I'd suspect the dropping out of hardware was an interrupt conflict. More modern Windows editions shrug off old complications like that - but it is strange that both your soundcard and WiFi have had issues.
One culprit could be the power...
Liking this - it's got some subtle differences (improvements even) over the previous titles. The map control phase is quite well done also - takes a bit of getting used to, but definitely plays a role on how successful you'll be when the next combat phase starts.
Aside from that, I'm really...
This Fanatec bundle almost seems too cheap to be true?

Well, today is officially release day and so far, so good. I very (very) rarely play a game on launch date as invariably there are issues galore. However, I've only come across one so far - where for about a minute, the game stuttered for a couple of seconds regularly. Then it simply stopped...
It's amazing just how much scenery pop-in occurs in GT1 during that clip. Of course, we knew no different back then and I pumped hours into it on my PS1. These days, that would get 30 seconds play time before being switched off. Objects in the mid-to-far distances simply appearing just destroy...
