UPDATE:
The countdown begins to the MOT on Saturday with me being a little bit concerned about it but not with not much more I can do, it is in their hands.
There were some obvious things to do, like fit proper number plates. I had previously made up a carbon rear track number plate but I...
So on my list of concerns and things to address at the moment is:
Full size front plate (need to fit plates)
No visible Vin number (take v5 doc)
No Side repeaters
No Speedo (hopefully can use phone app and mount)
Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1986 must be fitted with one side repeater indicator on each side. Instead of a separate lamp, the side repeater might be part of the front direction indicator if it includes a wraparound lens.
Lamps incorporating a side repeater are marked either with an...
Cheers mate, it is tough when stuff like that happens, but each time I try and take something from it, I learn more and I know the car that much better each time I have to sort it.
UPDATE:
So more of a tarting up update as I think I am genuinely running out of things to do for the MOT, or might even be done.
Despite what I have just said above about an MOT I don't really want to run side repeaters. The loom was not made for them and I don't want to chop into it more...
UPDATE:
In a push to get the car potentially MOT'd at/near the end of the month I am trying to get through jobs as and when time allows.
So, continuing on from the Dash/ECU fuel saga I think I am almost there. I have had to do/redo and redo again some of the wiring which takes a fair bit of...
UPDATE (cont):
The wiper motors loom needed a bit of fettling but was easily re-worked into the plug I already had. This was then clipped and tucked away.
A few attempts at alignment of the wiper but it is all good, sweeps really nicely and tucks away too, pretty happy with how tidy the result...
UPDATE:
Well this has been a little while in the making but progress is progress and I actually think this is the last thing to be sorted before it is ready for its MOT.
Those that follow the thread will know I had a bit of an issue with the single wiper a while ago, because of that I...
Nice work on the window frames, I need to do that with the windows in.... Looks good though.
Got an update on my single wiper soon, thought I'd let you know as it was inspired by you.
I was running 8J front and 9J rears on mine with no issues, but they were custom offsets and as you say camber did play a small part too.
Love this build
Thank you Rob, if you message me we can chat through what you may like as this does effect the costs. (y)

Thank you for your very kind words @Paul172sport it was nice to work up another Sunflower.
I can customise each illustration so when Paul wanted to mark how special the sunflowers are with a title and number this was not a problem.

I am in good/constant communications with Race Technology so will be very much 'on it' if this doesn't go to plan.
I have been trying to work out this morning what I need to do wiring wise, the least amount of cutting the better, it is a shame to keep breaking this loom and obviously that isn't...
