It is deffo an emotional journey and I am aware of that, its just a frustration that I need to work through and have it heading in the right direction again.
I am pretty sure the easiest thing at this point is to fit another Dash2. The car has a fully custom loom in it that is perfect and...
UPDATE:
I feel like the car is really testing me. I felt so close but now I feel like I am certainly going backwards.
I heard back from Race Technology this week who initially said that they could find no issue with the dash. I had quite a long discussion with them about it and it was going to...
Monaco Blue 172
It is shown above in the cello wrap that it is posted in, in Kyle's lovely looking kitchen (by the looks of it), but I will share the flat visual below too.
Nice to work up another colour.
UPDATE:
I had some time with the guys from Race Technology late last week where they would remote into the dash/car and we went through a number of things.
We couldn't find anything that was untoward, but we did think it may be beneficial to update the Dash software. This was done and it seemed...
Renault Sport Clio 182
This commission came in early last week and reached the customer on the weekend, who promptly framed it and had it up on the wall straight away....
thats probably the quickest turnaround yet, however there was no compromise on the quality or the process and I always make...
UPDATE
Have had some time on the car again tonight and managed to get a few things done.
First up was to look at the dash again and double check it had the right calibration. It does. With literally no idea what this could be it means a call with Race technology, hopefully they can shed some...
Nothing on the loom has been touched since this recent issue has happened so it will either be as you and someone else has suggested a duf sensor or could possibly be the incorrect dash cal.
i am going to re-upload the dash cal just to make sure again now that the ecu cal is right.
As you say...
UPDATE
Had a call and remote access time with SCS today where we uploaded my calibration back onto the ECU.
When this was uploaded they checked the readings and confirmed that all looked good on that.
The car primed the fuel pump and ran the fan, then started although soon cut out again and...
Matt Turner (Zmaster2k as he was known) was the new owner. A tree fell on it whilst he was driving it.
I was pretty gutted, i put so much time into that car, it was spotless
MK1 Phase 3 S
Along with the Odyssey Blue phase 1 above the same client ordered the print below.
These were both printed, posted and sent to France.
I have a real soft spot for the Mk1 so it was nice to replicate it.
I haven't had a request for a Valver or Williams yet but would be lovely to...
UPDATE
I am quite shocked and extremely disappointed writing this, but also hopeful.
I have not been back out to the car but am trying to prep/work through things in my head to understand what the issue might be.
Speaking with SCS Delta today it has become apparent that they uploaded the...
I am beginning to think that way yeah mate, it felt like I was all sorted and now seem to be going backwards. Sale thoughts are starting to circle.
I was just about to start looking into logical next steps regarding the 3 cylinders as I know coils and leads are common issues.
It would seem it...
UPDATE
Note from the last post is that the dash is not displaying better figures, so that is still an issue.
I undone the fuel line today and primped the pump with the ECU, this confirmed that the engine would receive fuel. I re-attached the line and then attempted to start the car.
The car...
UPDATE
The ECU has been and now come back from SCS Delta. They confirmed that the repair was good, however they were very apologetic as neither of the team there had reloaded my calibration back to the ECU. My calibration was reloaded and the ECU was posted back to me, along with a CAN-USB...
UPDATE:
Well the ECU was returned to SCS Delta, fixed* and then returned to me at the tail end of last week.
I checked through the car, the battery is back up to full strength, it now has 10ltrs of fuel, the coolant was topped up and all fuses checked prior to plugging the ECU back into the...
I get the panel make-up would be fine, and I get that it is lighter than standard, but lets face it most are changing for looks....
But most are likely to still be running brake lines and resi back there so would need heatshield (therefore covering it up)
My windows were the very first set they made for the clio... what is strange also is I have moved all around the country and now live about 10min walk from them
I know exactly what you mean with regards to the doors and the aperture, i felt exactly the same. I decided to trim mine back but you do have to be careful as this is where the skins are bonded - i would advise you put some more bond between them if possible.
i was unaware that ACW did...
Renault sport Clio Phase 1 172
Probably the best looking of the original Renault Sport Clio's? (well I am biased).
I had a couple of requests for these recently and believe I have almost worked up all of the phase 1 172 colours now.
*It isn't a conscious decision to move to a grey...
