Just had the rear discs replaced as I was having a bearings issue but the new ones have sorted it..next on the list is a clutch as it's riding very high at the mo..

After waiting for a titanium bootlid I finally managed to find one that's a good match..wiring was a pain to do but I'm happy with the end result..

Now there's one question to be answered..

I'm not sure...I thought they were the same??

Not sure.. I've seen other colour replacement bootlid for about £60 which I guess is cheaper than a dent repair.

Front bearings were making a noise once I went over 30mph so got them changed,I've had someone run into the back of me and drive off and they have left me with a dented boot so I'm after a replacement..I've got some bits to fix next but the bootlid is my priority..

Had a little issue last week..fuel feed pipe had a small leak, I'd managed to do a temporary fix but today she got a brand new pipe fitted...onwards and upwards.

If she makes the cut can you let me know please..

Had a small fuel leak on the injector rail feed pipe,have managed to bypass the split with a temporary fix..New fuel pipe ordered getting it fitted on tuesday.

Little updated...slowly but surely...Mick at diamond motors fitted a lower rs inlet last week giving me a smoother and seems more responsive drive.Ive got a knocking at the front end from acceleration in first so it's a dogbone or gearbox mount next job.

As the title says..I'll be attending this Sunday and taking my grandson for a hopefully nice day out...Would be good to park in the bays with a few other ph1's...or ph2's...lol

Replaced tatty plastic interior door handles for nice shiny chrome ones

Fronts have gone on no problems rears don't fit,bearings are slightly out so looks like they will be going back...

New brakes today..

Car is booked in for its first job..vented front brakes and mintex rears to be fitted by Lee of Renault specialist West Bromwich...

That would be a good meet...the mondeo was just a stop gap,i always knew i`d be back in a clio just had no idea which type.

Rs lower inlet bought and some new stopping power...

Hello...It was regassed by myself but it was back in 2016 when me and the mrs went to france,it held the cold air for quite sometime after that,but you are probably right..needs redoing.:-)

The last pic is just of the rear wheel but it's gotten riffy already is it from lack of driving or are the discs/pads in need of changing..

Been out for a little drive...

I p I picked her up from Stroud so was driving back to the Midlands,she's my daily now but it's an ongoing project new parts are on the cards hopefully every week..

Aaarrghhh..it's raining..can't tinker with the car in the rain.

Only pic I took on the way back from picking her up..stopped off at Gloucester services..I need a replacement air filter feed tube but luckily I have one..

I`m sure with regular servicing they will go on and on..
