Greenlight - wake up and smell the potential business

It was just in a conversion i had previously and i cant remember the customers details. I know he had a Golf GTi but cant rememeber much else. I'll have a search online though mate and see what i can find. To be honest i think it makes good sense for the Ring to do their own insurance...

Greenlight - wake up and smell the potential business

£60 doesnt sound to bad for the ring cover.....Although the price you are paying for the annual policy is quite high. A customer told me last week that the Ring are doing their own insurance for 80euros a day with an excess based on 25% of your car value....Not sure if that would work out...

Greenlight - wake up and smell the potential business

We'd love to cover it mate, its just the collosal claim amounts that the ring charge for repairs/closures that make it pretty much uninsurable. We deal with 3 different underwriters for track cover and they all exclude it. We cover all UK tracks (apart from Castle Combe) from £35 per time...

Greenlight - wake up and smell the potential business

No problem it was 2 days before Christmas and we are working on lower staff numbers so i can only apologise for the minor oversight. Its clear you are looking for perfection mate so hope Admiral managed to live up to expectations. If the bad piece of press we receive on Cliosport is because we...

Greenlight - wake up and smell the potential business

Your explanation makes complete sense. The only thing is on our system we have a button to tick for oustanding money which then means it shows on the screen that a previous policy was cancelled it had outstanding money, the only thing i can think of is one of the admin guys ticked this box by...

Greenlight - wake up and smell the potential business

Its not actually a bad story though. Its not like we have caused the customer any issues. All it boils down to is we didnt give him a quote. This could of been rectified by a simple PM to me as the forum contact. There is a reason for that :) Thanks for the kind comments mate. We can do...

Greenlight - wake up and smell the potential business

There must be some kind of mix up. If a policy is cancelled due to payment default/bad debt then we dont do a new policy that is our standard practice, However if you cancelled on a cooling off period then that wouldnt be the case. I think you will see from the numerous positive posts on this...

The Impreza picture and discussion thread

Thanks for the mention mate, If you are getting quoted £1290 ar 28 with 11yrs NCB i definately think i'll be able to get you a MUCH better deal. Is the postcode high rated or do you have loads of points? is that why the prices are coming up so high? Best Regards Neil Greenlight 01277 650866

    Hit By Uninsured Driver!!!

If it was me i would try everything possible to avoid it having to come off my own insurance so definately call the police. For starters why should he get away with no insurance, think the police will be pretty KEEN to talk to the driver when you explain he asked you to say his missus was...

    Hit By Uninsured Driver!!!

Id recommend pressing charges as well that way if the police end up threating the owner with an IN14 offence she may say "I didnt know he was taking the car" that opens up the windwo for you to pursue a claim as being hit by a stolen car. The driver will likely get a UT99 offence as well (taking...

    Exhaust/Insurance Help

We can take NCB that is up to 2yrs old mate. Its industry standard to take that. If your last policy expired over 2yrs ago then the NCB will normally have expired. Thats the only time we wouldnt be able to quote. I think Aviva and Axa will actually accept NCB that is over 2yrs old. If you are...

    Quick question :insurance

The reason insurers ask for the vehicle to be insured by its owner is so that when you get out of the car you are not leaving it uninsured. (the driving other cars cover goes on you not the vehicle). Also under the new Government ruling any car that isnt insured has to be declared SORN so you...

    Hit By Uninsured Driver!!!

Hi mate If the vehicle is insured you could probably still get paid under the third element of the owners insurance. The driver will get 6 points as well for no insurance. Its better that the car had an insurance policy on it even though it was under a different persons name rather than be...

Insurance policy problem CS advice needed

You need to have the business use listed on the insurance certifate. It will have a wording along the lines of "Cover is provided for social, domestic and pleasure and use in connection with insureds business/occupation". The wording for a normal commuting policy (without business use) will be...

    Courtesy car

Normally if the courtesy car is part of an insurance claim the car would be covered by your policy or that of the company providing the car. They will normally make you sign an agreement when they drop the car off so you agree to the excess etc on the vehicle. If you ask the company that drop...

    Laid Up Policy

We can offer a 1000 miles policy which could work you. That way it still gives some miles to use the car to drive to MOT's and for any work it would. Plus by reducing the miles that low it will give you a very low price. Feel free to drop me a PM if you wanted to get a quote for that. Best...
