    Insurance !

Both our main underwirter were hit bad by claims on the 172 Cup. Its strange because the other Cliosport models (172, 182 and 182 cup) are one of the lowest claiming hot hatches we have ever covered. We are currently looking for another underwirter that will enable us to quote the 172 Cup model...

I would expect our quote to come out around £450-£500 with that information. PM me your name as i'd like to see why the quote was so high. We could insure a 23 year with 3 years for around £700 so there must be something wrong. Best Regards Neil Greenlight Insurance

    Hybrid Insurance Question?

If its got a 2.016v williams engine we are not going to insure it as 1.816v! If the vehicle has had the engine done and you have not notified the DVLA and the insurer you may as well not have insurance at all as the policy will be void. Best Regards Neil Greenlight Insurance

    Green Light.....any good?

I think I remember this case, from memory your car had a £3500 paint job that if it got a small scratch would need to completely resprayed as the marble effect couldn't be matched up. Not surprising the insurer didn't want to cover it they would be on for paying a £3500 respray with any small...

The Elephant policy may of been a 10 month. We can only protect NCB once you have earnt full no claims (our Full NCB is 5 years) When you have 5 years NCB we should be able to include PNCB free of charge where most insurers charge in excess of 10% more for this benefit. Best Regards neil...

Hi Dan Adding these modifications mid policy would just cost a £25 admin fee. If you wanted to add some other parts at the sametime then we may be able to incorporate them into the cost. If you add them at quote stage or renewal stage there would be no charge. Best Regards Neil Greenlight...

Clio 172 Cup regrouped for insurance???? help needed

Completely correct.... We no longer insure the 172 Cup models for new customers due to our bad claims experience.
