Sorry mate but London is the 3rd highest rated area in country as far as car crime goes.
If it wasn't for the high rated postcode you would probably be paying around £400-£450:dapprove:
We can offer protected NCB to driver 22 and over provided they have max ncb (5 years)
In most cases we can add this benefit free of charge for club/forum members.

Being a broker we are always trying to imporve our...
We have now managed to source a seperate underwriter for the 172 Cup Models (drivers over 25 for a trial period at present)so we are now able to offer the same discount as we can for the Normal 172, 182's and 182 cups.
As before modifications are no problem even as far as Nitrous etc...

Most insurers will disregard NCB if its over 2 years Old.
There are some insurers out there that accept NCB up to 3 and 5 years old so if your NCB is over 2 years old you could go with one of them for a year to bring it back up to date.

We are not competetive on lower group cars mate, thats why i titled the post specifically for the cars we are offering the best rates for. (172's and 182's)

There are two ways in which the insurer would know how much the claims costs were.
Most insurer belong to various databases (MIAFTA, QUE etc...) so the claim costs would appear on there if checked.
Also the claim would be stated on you no claims bonus proof (if it did not show costs then the...

The Cup and Non Cup models each have different ABI codes (insurance group codes) so i'd make sure NU are aware of what the cup model is and that they have not based your policy on a standard Clio 172.

Seeing as you wish to discuss this in an open forum the figures above are not correct.
Please see below workings:

Insurer Premium £530
Legal Cover £27.75 (non refundable but still current until 25/08/06)
Total £557,75

The policies we sell are for road use and cannot be suspended. Basically had we of continued cover for you despite the car failing the SVA we would be insuring you to use an unroadworthy car on the road so therefore the policy has to be cancelled.
Obviously Insurance Companies would not...
Correct
A pro Rata refund has been issued by the insurer. We as a broker are paid 12% commission by the insurer for the work we do.
We retain this commission on cancellations (obviously we don't work for free :D)
The insurer are issuing a refund as we speak so once it hits our account a...
We had someone contact us from Cliosport whos policy wasn't due until next year and just wanted a rough idea....If this was you then we were only doing as you requested by giving a rough indication based on basic information.
If you would like a full quote we can happily take you full details...
Its not the mods its the fact its a Cup model. We do not cover the Cup model at all.
With 1 on 5 we insured being a total loss we are not prepared to continue insuring them at a massive loss.
Had you of had these mods on a normal 172 or a 182 then we could happily provide a quote.

Neil
As i have said we cannot quote for the Cup model due to our bad claims statistics.
But as a whole we would not charge any extra under our modified policies if bucket seats and an induction kit was fitted (there may be a £25 admin fee if they were added to the policy mid-term rather than at new...
We as a broker don't insure drivers under 21 on any vehicles....this is just our standard age restriction.
I'm not sure what your question is but if your asking would we quote MR Smith with a clio 182 at £xxx premium and if he wanted a quote for 172 Cup we would have to decline the answer Yes.
