It may be in keeping with the bluebook regs as you say but just having a reinforcement plate that looks like it's being welded in by a gorilla welded to the floor on the front legs will still allow the floor to flex somewhat, the box also ties in the sill equalling a more ridged mounting point...
As others have already said, I'm not keen on the harness bar position seems rather low. And also how it bolts to car is crap in my opinion. Would much prefer to see it sat on mounting boxes that welds to the sills and floor.
That's what I always do when I build cages.
Don't need your car to build a cage as I have a spare shell i build them in so just a cage of bringing to be fitted.
Can fit a cage in a day if the car is stripped of carpets and trims etc and the dash top has been off before and passenger airbag removed.
Hope you're happy with it mate.
Does look cracking it that colour but looks too much like mine!
Hope to see you out with the Tricolore group some point later on this year!
I had a bit of bother fitting mine, had to put a spacer between the door and the hinge one of them to get the gaps right, think it was the passenger side. Once I'd got it right I tiger sealed as well as bolting the hinge to the the doors.
Also had bother with the door catches, because the...
Thanks for the info Tom, I thought that all the fittings were M10x1 but just got the master this afternoon and found it has two larger port threads.
Will have to try and find some M12 to -3 An fittings now, thinking might have to be two banjos and bolts.
I've just joined the Track Attack...
Does anyone know the port thread size on the 4 port master?
I know the back two are M10x1 but the fronts are bigger, Maybe M12x1??
Also the front and rear calliper port thread sizes if anyone knows would be helpful
Cheers
Can anyone tell me the thread sizes on the clio 182 front and rear calipers and also the 4 ports on the 172 none-abs master cylinder?
Getting a list together for full braided lines all round
Cheers
Yes thats correct but the original does diagonals ie front right, rear left from one port and front left, rear right from the other so I was thinking I could change that so one does the fronts and the other does the rears via a bias valve??
Unless the pressure output is differnt this seem...
After rewiring the track car the ABS module isn't wired up and the pedal feels different? (Not sure if it is different or if it's just in my head)
Want to remove the module but not sure of the best way of doing it.
Can the original master be used by pumping the fronts into one port and the...
It would run at all with it set to 2 missing teeth!
counted the teeth on the old engine and its only got 1 missing so changed the settings to 1 missing and she fired straight up??
Has anyone got a map to suit a standard engine running on a Omex 600 please?
Got the car fully rewired over the last two weekends and finally running again last night after having trouble with the Omex wiring loom been wired wrong on the throttle position plug making it read open when its...

Anybody know the piston size used in the Midilite calipers supplied by Jamsport/Ktec? Might just buy a set from Rally Design then make some mounts.
Looking at the spec for the Wilwood Powerlites I've got already the maximum vehicle weight is 750Kg
Anyone out there running Wilwoods that could tell me the caliper model and/or part number?
I've got a set of Wilwood Powerlites on another project car and wondering if I could fit them to the clio with brackets
Cheers

Hi all,
I’ve got a 182 cup which comes with the cheaper interior, so since I could get my hands on a complete full fat interior for free I decided I’d change it over.
Did the steering wheel the other week with no problems at all. Did the front and rear seat this morning and now I’ve got the...
