As a measure of how sad I am, I've just bought from ebay: 1x EVO Magazine featuring the "new" E92 M3, and 1x Original Brochure for the car.
CHRIST I NEED A LIFE.
The M3 is actually one of the stronger cars they made in the E9x series. The diesels were a joke for reliability!
There are a couple of issues you can run into with these but to go into owning a car like this with your eyes open.
To me £350 a month isn't that much to pay for peace of mind if...
I plan on extending the warranty if I keep it anyway!
Terrible potato photo taken by a friend who can't rotate pics but can see into the future.
However, it shows how much the colour changed under light. Really becomes as metallic as its name suggests.
LOL! Yeah so it's on 53k and comes with a year already, and the Used guy said I can pay to keep that going at the end of the year if I want. I don't see myself doing more than 5k a year in it so that shouldnt be a problem but cheers for the headsup!
As for the Actuators, I'm not sure. I'm...
Cheers! Dealer is actually a friend of mine, so he just printed off the factory spec list for me. So that's my bad on misunderstanding!
BMW updated these for me before sale luckily, but I've been told you can just download the maps online and burn to a DVD-R cheaper than ordering the DVD from...
I'd still have the GT86 tomorrow if I couldn't afford to run this. One of the best cars if the last 10 years, and I'm sure it'll be a future classic. But yes, there's just something about a 4.0 V8 that CANNOT be ignored.
Many thanks! Yes, the noise is glorious. I was smiling ear to ear nailing...
Yeah but I wont forget the trip in a hurry! haha, it will be painful though.
It just keeps going and going, a proper screamer. Down low it sounds like a classic V8 with that mid range howl, up top its just VTEC x2.
I feel guilty about this. We have a drive but sometimes it has to sit on the road, we now have a camera out the front which I may have bought solely for this car.... Luckily its not a daily as such so that may save it a bit!
Yes, I am that stupid. The Volvo is doing the weekly slog to Milton Keynes, although I may take the M3 to work every now and then!
And TBF this is more usable as a daily than the GT86 was haha
Na sod it, Park it on the road and get CCTV.
Thanks all for the kind words!
So for those who know me, I have been banging on about how great my little GT86 is since I bought it back in September 2015. So why then have I I just traded it in for this? (Apologies for shitty iPhone pics)

Well, there are about 414 good reasons laying...
Don't worry, thats a'comin!
And yes, everything I thought I knew as an engineer turns out to be a LIE.
YESSS! But its technically nicer than my shed, so you havent out-shed me .
I stopped off on the way to work to test my terrible parking skills, and whilst I turned around to admire said skills, I saw this.
I had no idea Volvos used this quick release mechanism, but I can't say I'm a fan. Luckily I work for one of the most cutting edge motorsport engineering...
Thanks dude! I've been slacking on the photos recently, not many excuses other than being busy! New job and more travelling haven't helped that.
Thanks! The temptation is too real.
Such waft. Very wow. I actually suggested this to a friend! But it was the 850 that was TECHNICALLY the BTCC...
