    Fletch's BMW M2.

FFS! Should be a basic IQ test that comes with the driving license, what a f**king weapon!

The Porsche Carrera 4s Journey (Part 1: The Hunt)

Such a good car. I only ended up with my M3 due to being scared of the issues on these, but I will own one! Good luck with it all

    Ideal £5k toolbox

They still have a website? LOL. You need access to the Van tbh.

    Ideal £5k toolbox

A lot of people say this but I do notice the difference with proper wanker bolts lol. Less likely to round off with the snap on sockets/spanners as I find the fit a lot nicer.

    Ideal £5k toolbox

Personally have a mix of Snap-On and Halfords in a way too expensive Snap-On toolbox. Now i'm off the tools I feel it may have been a waste, but do enjoy having decent tools to work with. For the fully stocked kits, I dont think you can beat Teng on the value though! But will say the Halfords...

    Fletch's BMW M2.

Thanks! The colour is what attracted me to it. I need to sell for a house deposit though, so next car will either be cheapo or new/financey dealy! Keep this thread updated, will enjoy seeing how you get on with the M2

    Fletch's BMW M2.

North Oxford BMW. I dont use mine as a daily mainly to keep miles off it, and of course fuel costs. M2 that was nearly new would eliminate that somewhat, I was looking at a Cayman GTS but they're £60k+ USED! Didnt realise they were so much. E92 is with me for another year at least anyway.

    Fletch's BMW M2.

These seem a bit of a bargain to me, my local BMW dealer is offering some lol PCP deals on them. Be interesting to see where values go! How is the car day-to-day? Or is it more of a weekend thing? I keep thinking of just PCP'ing something newer when I buy a house and they do appeal.

    E92 ///M3 enhancement

Kinda hoping they dont go much lower for obvious reasons. But as long as E46's rise, and Evo keep featuring it as one to buy, I think I'll be alright!

    E92 ///M3 enhancement

Haha I'd love someone to have a go on it! I used a Medium cutting pad with Scholl S17+ followed up by Menzerna final finish with a finishing pad. It's come up pretty well but the deep scuffs and swirls are still there. There's a really bad bit of lacquer overspray on the boot, looks like...

    E92 ///M3 enhancement

No pictures of mine at the mo (Cars dirty :() but I was told by a local detailer he thought it was at least a stage 2 job maybe more in some places.

    E92 ///M3 enhancement

Epic work, look stunning after! I really need this doing to mine! Went over with the rotary at home but havent got the balls to cut that deep, pretty much the same as the "mid way" shots of that. Has loads of typical BMW factory defects too that annoy me, shame as the red has a proper golden...

    E92 BMW M3 - A slight upgrade.

I was tempted. But the way I drive it means it gets covered in stone chips and such! The thought of forking out for a detail (which to be fair, probably wouldn't get rid of some of the issues) and then ruining it just by having fun in the car grates on me a bit! Actually detailed it the other...

    E92 BMW M3 - A slight upgrade.

Managed to get some time with my beloved the other weekend. As some of you may know, as well as my day job I'm part of a business called "La Chasse". We provide unique Road Rallys that involve tech and challenges to make the whole thing more exciting. Anyway, after the event I used the excuse to...

The latest cheap shed, Passat PD130

I find that the magic sponge gets just about any stain off of anything (Insert your own jokes here). I wish I'd found out about its magical abilities sooner, especially during my teen years.... You can get a pack of them off amazon prime for bugger all! Couldn't believe how black the water was...

The latest cheap shed, Passat PD130

Such a solid engine, loving the effort to clean it up too. One thing I did with my disgusting Volvo/Golf interiors was use a Magic sponge and some APC mixed with water, its a particularly good mix for removing the "Shine" off of dirty leather seats, but equally good for caked in aids on...

    '86 MK2 Golf GTI - Resto job.

Managed to get some work done on this over the weekend. Firstly, dropped those Smoked Hellas out for some standard Hellas. Much better Untitled by Jason.Easton, on Flickr However, the bumper on the back is lol grey. I'm going to buy a new one once its resprayed, so for now I used a tin of...

    '86 MK2 Golf GTI - Resto job.

Managed to get a bit of a bargain. Full set, £70. Went and collected them last night! They'll get a refurb to factory spec, and I'll try get the 2 missing centre caps replaced. They're rare and go for too much money, so I'll just draw them up in CAD and send them off to be made by someone probably!

    '86 MK2 Golf GTI - Resto job.

Yep, trying to keep this 100% stock. Only changes will be period upgrades really! Really sad and nerdy I know... Terrible. But tbf, a lot of MK2's got killed by the Scrappage scheme as well!

    '86 MK2 Golf GTI - Resto job.

Yeah they really do! Stupidly reliable as well as you say, mines on 175k and has barely done 1k in the last 10 years. Still sat at motorway speeds fine, and got off the line fairly quick for an old girl too. If I wasn't doing a full resto, I'd probably do the same engine swap you did with the...

Love that colour so much. Looked tidy too! Did you post that on here? Feel like I remember seeing it.

£30k to spend, what performance car?

I would worry that the Porsche bubble has to burst at some point, although no sight of slowing down. The Clio is so rare that it's always more likely to climb more, but given current things both are a very safe bet. Personally, I've always adored the 996 C4S. It was a dream car, but the BMW...

    '86 MK2 Golf GTI - Resto job.

Yep the Oak Green ones seem to be the one to have. Personally I prefer the small bumpers more retro look, but would live a big bumper too! I've spent my lunch break on the phone to a good local bodywork guy, he's all booked up till November but given his reputation I may just wait for him...

£30k to spend, what performance car?

I'll have to try them next time then! Sounds good. I struggled with the classic policy on the Golf cos of my age. Kinda off topic here, but insurance chat may help your decision lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

£30k to spend, what performance car?

I think you have to be an old man for them? For reference I'm 24 and the M3 was about £900 this year I think. .

£30k to spend, what performance car?

Odd as the C4S was a lot more for me! I use specialist brokers (Sky Insurance currently, although Brentacre on one of my cars as its "classic"). 100% go for a 996 C4S if you can. Stunning cars, going up in value.

    '86 MK2 Golf GTI - Resto job.

Find me a nice one for £2k and I'll literally ring up and buy it right this second. £2,500 for a tatty one, upwards of £3500 for a semi good one, then into the stratosphere for "We've placed this one in a photostudio and written a 1000 essay for its advert" ones. This one was a lot less either...

    '86 MK2 Golf GTI - Resto job.

Working long hours and trying to get a start up business off the ground is doing some very weird things to my mind. I often find my ebay watch list looking quite eclectic, last week it had a Renault Avantime and about 3 Sega Master Systems in it. This week, it had a lot of MK2 Golfs. You see...

£30k to spend, what performance car?

I went for this, and it was £10k under your budget from a main dealer. I've had it nearly 6 months and if anything it's worth the same as the day I bought it, maybe more? I know they're a bit of an unknown for future values, but it bodes well that the E46 is climbing, as well as this being the...

    E92 BMW M3 - A slight upgrade.

The engine is the star of this car, it makes it. It's the last N/A Screamer that BMW will ever make, I'm sure of that! I love my paint, and I love having a super clean car. But after seeing the damage caused by my Wales trip I just thought "Whats the point", I'm afraid if I pay a tonne for...
