That looks like a join before the pipe to the back box. I've never seen a cat like that. But my mechanical knowledge is pretty shocking. Sure one of the more techy people will pop in at some point. Is it for a 172/82?

No. That is the manifold to cat gasket. The cat to mid box is a flange/olive join (I believe that's what it's called) which requires a simple clamp. The gasket you have posted is essential but just not for that part of the exhaust system.
