Surprised people still recommend valeo after the failures documented on here tbh! I replaced a failed valeo one with a LUK item and thought it looked like a far better clutch and pressure plate.
Indeed. They're absolutely shite on rough roads but look great lol. Apparently handle well on a smooth track though.

Best I can do for now as I can't seem to find any other photos after I put the F1's on, but you get the idea! They look great on a 182 if it's been lowered IMO. That's on Apex springs btw.
I think I probably have (auto updates FTL) and I think that's the issue. I noticed AI Suite wasn't working so thought I'd try and reinstall it...then after the restart it seems like the USB ports just switch off when the logon screen appears.
Didn't realise until afterwards that there was...
Well it would seem my PC has just completely s**t the bed. Keyboard and mouse don't work at the login screen and I can't get it to reboot into safe mode, or get the BIOS to show up. It blue screened and said "page fault in non paged area" and now I'm not even getting that to come up.
All I...
White halos are one of the best mods for the pre-LCI lights! Improves the front end so much.
With regards to the seating position, I'm about 5'11 as well and I have mines up a little bit from the lowest point. Do you sit quite upright? I have quite a relaxed driving position for the most part...
Yup, I should hopefully be going this year (depending when I'm going on holiday), and as mentioned there's @rctempire and a few others on here who will be heading down.
Haha definintely worth a go if you can get it for £300. Even £350 is worthwhile if all the issues are as easy to fix as they sound. Be a good cheap wee motor if it works out. If it turns out to be a shitter give me a shout, I could do with some Arctic Blue body panels 😂
That the one out Dumbarton way? Last I knew it was getting broken for parts as I was going to get a few bits from it lol.
Worth a punt at £450 definitely. Even as a standard car. You'd make that back selling a few bits and scrapping the rest if the worst came to worst.

I think you need to reference the other sheet. Instead of just using B11 as the reference try 'sheet2!B11' (replace sheet2 with whatever the sheet is actually called).
Not really used vlookup before mind you so may be wrong.
As above it's probably nothing to worry about. Jack it up and check both rear wheels spin freely with the handbrake off.
I've just had to free up the rear caliper on my 182. Slider pins were all OK but the piston was sticking. Pulled the dust cover off and wound the piston right out, bit of a...
Your issue is the fact you have a stealth. They're inherently noisy because the sound reflects off the road surface and back up towards the car.
Anything that doesn't have a downwards facing tip will be far better
Very strange, probably would've been around about Friday it happened to me too! Toys well and truly went out of the pram in a 'I'm never playing this game again' fashion. Then I remembered I had it on PC! Glad I hadn't lost any progress.
My Xbox decided it would just delete the full game from my console the other night! Still not been arsed to download it again but luckily I had downloaded it on my PC on release day too, so I've jumped onto that now and it's so much better! No idea why I've been playing it on my Xbox when I have...
Yeah slowly ticking off the list of problems! I need to remember and get some decent pics now the interior has all been cleaned up! The recaros have come up especially good, although the drivers bolster still ideally needs retrimmed. Need to find a leather specialist close by.
Next up on the...
Made some solid progress with this in the last couple of weeks but have been seriously lacking in taking any photos unfortunately! Stripped the full interior out of it and wet vac'd the carpets, front and rear seats, mats, and cleaned up any exposed metal areas, like under the seats and in the...
Oh yeah definitely. Almost seems pointless to sell a cage like that when for so little extra outlay they could be manufacturing them to be fully MSA compliant and probably get more sales!
However, still appears to be made to a good spec if you want something safe on a budget without any plans...
Probably worth reading the regs before posting something like this.
The cages meet FIA spec just fine if you check them with annex J. They don't meet MSA spec, but then they never claimed to...
Polybush in the dogbone will make the world of difference. I'll be very surprised if that doesn't sort your issue out mate. I swapped each mount round on my 182 with the solid vibratechnics mounts i've got on my track car and it was the dogbone that got rid of my knocking on acceleration.
Was just about to say, check the dogbone mount. I've just replaced some crap orange coloured 'poly' bushes that came on a 182 I bought with proper powerflex items and the difference is night and day. It used to knock like f**k with any jerky throttle movements and it's solid now.
Are you looking for an app you can input all the data into yourself or something automated?
If you're after something automated I'd recommend giving money dashboard a go. I've used it for a while now and it's been a total godsend for working out where money goes. Fetches your transactions...
The design of them causes most of the drone. Sound is directed downwards and bounces back up off the road surface and resonates through the car.
I have the same on my track car with the centre silencer and cat still fitted and it's droney as f**k!
£560 for parts?! Are they buying you a new gearbox with it?
Edit: Hang on, just noticed the year. Not sure about mk3's actually. Hydraulic clutch may push the price up a little although £560 plus labour still sounds steep to me!
The MOT history on that blue one says it all for me. 9 advisories and 4 fails last year lol! Looks like someone who's wanting to get rid of it before the MOT is due this year.
Also with regards to this:
I'm going to go against the grain and say no. Clio roofs hold up surprisingly well in a...
We went for a LUK clutch which, to be honest, looks far better quality than the Valeo item! Actually got it changed and back together the day after the gearbox came out but I've been on holiday since then so forgot to update the thread lol.
As you can see below the LUK pressure plate has a...
That sounds like the symptoms I had when the n/s shaft roller bearings came off and flew around the gearbox. Resulted in a gearbox rebuild unfortunately.
I'll more than likely be up Knockhill again before the end of the year! There's always a fair few Clio owners up there regardless of what's on.
There's a meet organised at krispy kreme for this weekend if you fancy it, I'll tag you in the thread mate.
