Went from an EP3 direct to a 200, the 200 handles far better, unsure how they’d fair side by side, the Honda would probably edge it as the K20’s generally make the quoted power, unlike this blue b*****d of mine.🫠
So the car was in the garage this morning, turns out some mechanical spastic has put two different front coil springs on it, the rears look factory, coloured orange and blue as you can see - would the fronts be colour coded the same?
cheers
Ah brilliant mate, i seen you had bought the 370z - tremendous cars ageing beautifully into the bargain!
Arsehole is firmly puckered my guy - looking at £250 a side? (Perhaps more?!)🙄
Taking a trip to a camping pod in Wigtown with the missus - highly recommended! The big rock in the first picture is the Ailsa Craig on the Firth of Clyde. Weather is absolutely amazing! - highly recommend! This is the third camping pod we’ve done, they are mega, very well kitted out!

As above, the 200 makes a strange noise after accelerating fairly hard, sounds like its coming from the offside front, with every rotation of the wheel like a metallic sound (sorry for how vague that sounds!) Seems to go away after a few minutes which is even stranger!

Theres a rattle coming from underneath, the heat shield just above the diffuser/beam is missing one of those weird clips they use - the thread is exposed so i’m thinking i may be able to get a nut and washer on it? Anyone any idea what nut size is required?
I’ve had all variants of the 172/182 and now a 200. The 200 feels a lot more grown up and planted although heavier maybe not as nimble, all are fantastic in their own right but have their gripes respectively.
I wouldn’t be buying one as an investment unless it was a seriously immaculate 172 Cup...
So the wheels were the only part of the car letting it down cosmetically, i got them done by a friend who has a lot of experience in wheel painting (Archlight Restorations), will let the pictures do the talking!
Back to satin black - centre caps matched also!
Absolutely mega that, probably my favourite car on the forum.
On the topic of selling in the USA, a lad in Scotland has agreed a sale for an R34 in bayside blue for north of 350k i’m told for when it turns 25. These maniacs across the pond are actually queuing up to pay it it seems. Mad b******s.
