Honestly? I’m lucky to have both. 172 is rawer and more urgent, albeit not standard. Handling very similar although the 200 is softer. On paper the 200 is quicker but it doesn’t feel it. Less equipment in the 200 than the Fiesta I had before but that doesn’t bother me. Lack of storage is a minor...
Few little jobs done. Interior cleaned as best I can at home without my usual gear, ditto engine bay and Silvertecs fitted all round.
C2 mist jets ordered as the standard ones are pathetic and a new centre cap also on order.
Itching to start on the detailing work but rammed at work so it’ll be...
Update - I’ve done a buy...
The Fiesta wasn’t cutting it as a daily for a lot of reasons so I’ve bought what I should have bought 3 months ago.
49k, full history, belts done last year, standard “boring” spec which is exactly what I want and need for daily duties.
Filthy even by my standards but...

Single stage with Angelwax Resurrection using MF pads then a coat of Fusso - I ceramic coat cars day in and out so fancied a change. All trim coated with Gtechniq C5 and Clio badge...
Quick wash yesterday and better angle of the new track width. Really happy with this!

Here’s my first impression after not driving my Fiesta for a few days - took me 20 minutes to get comfortable! Pretty shocked TBh as I thought it would be the other way round.
Thanks Steve. To be fair, I’ve covered less than 40 miles so far but no issues at all. Very supportive indeed and enough padding for me at 6’2” and over 17 stone...
Plan to use the car a bit more over the next couple of weeks to get a better feel for them ?
Big day on the car today. And another huge thanks to @iyrix once again for sweating his nuts off ?seats are in, mounted on Jon Foz subframes, 16mm spacers up front and PMS 10mm stub axle at the back. Oil change and all done.
Seating position is pretty much perfect and handling now smack on point...
I don’t apply this product but I’ve seen first hand bird crap stains a few weeks after application etched into the paint. My neighbour paid for it as part of a PCP deal and it was never applied or at least they managed to apply it around the grease spots all over the roof.
It’s the lack of...
So I’ve got me a new daily - the Saab was showing its age and sub 25mpg is fine when it’s fun. With the wife now having the family wheels I decided to downsize as frankly I drive to and from work plus the odd trip out so I needed something frugal and fun. Enter the Fiesta 1.0 Zetec S - already...
