I'm looking to replace the shocking coilovers fitted to mine with one of the above, dont quite have the budget for B16's sadly, Should I wait for the B14's or go with the spax as they are a very good price?
I am replacing the dampers and the top nuts are f**ked, the threads are close to being completely stripped, think the only thing holding them is the nylon bit of the nut. :/
Anyone know what nut size I need for the rear GAZ shocks, none of the motorist shops round by mean seem to be able to help. Its a fine thread on them and nowhere appears to stock it.
I have just order my ticket, can meet at Chieveley Services, no track time for me as car is not up to standard yet.

Need a new rear strut rubber mount, the bit the rear strut bolts too (its actually the rubber bit in the wheel arch I need but I think there the same) but I cant find a part number or any info. Can someone help?
I have these same seats ready to go into mine, shame mine arent exposed weave like that tho (and like said mine are slightly scratched too), very sexual.
Yeah hopefully they fit with my sidemounts that I have for the seats..
Thanks for comments, car could do with being lowered but tried to do this last week only to find that the grub screws have welded themselves into the coilover collers. Will have to take the struts off and get them drilled...
One thing I have always hated is the melting steering wheel so off with the old:
And in with the new:
Much better and I really like the dished wheel as had it on previous cars and prefer the wheel being close.
Couple of smaller changes:
Fitted a small aerial
And some new CS...
Best i got was a mid 1min 12sec lap I think although haven't been on for a while due to Internet being broken. Will post up room on Thursday again this week see how many people we get.
thats fine only assist I put on the server was ABS set at 1, all others off.
Not stock but tuned to within the Performance Points limit of 450. (which is fairly tuned)
to be fair you cannot limit to stanard spec cars online, one of the guys yesterday was using a mini cooper (got owned) but its just limited by the 450PP so potentially yes you could.
Was very close when me and another guy had completely difference tuning (me leightweight low bhp, him more bhp but heavier) probably about 1 second in it.
good point I will go back through the thread and make a note.
Yeah I failed to mention actually that we could add more tracks or swap...
Vehicle to be used:
Renault Clio sport 2.0 16v
Allowed Modifications are:
You can have any paint colour.
Tuning:
Sport soft tyres (or lower)
Performance Point <=450
Strictly Not Allowed:
Racing tyres
Aero Parts
Potential Tracks:
Deep forest Raceway - 15 Laps...
If one comes up in the UDC I will send it you if you add me.
Cheers for the couple of people that were online, think the 450pp is the way to go as first race was proper close!
Just need more people, 8+ would make it an awesome race :-)
